So, this is comfortable, no doubt. BUT, and this is a huge BUT, it moves around on the bed and pulls the sheets off. I have slept on it for a few weeks and EVERY morning, I have to pull all my sheets and blankets off, and re-adjust the topper and put the mattress protector and fitted sheet back on and then remake the bed. I am ONE person (no vigorous activities are taking place in this bed), and yet, every morning, the topper has shifted several inches (side to side AND head to toe) and pulled the fitted sheet and mattress protector off of the mattress. This results in extra deep pocket sheets being on a four-inch topper, making the sheet way too baggy and all that extra fabric bunches up under me and it is just uncomfortable.I bought this thing to alleviate my shoulder pain, but the intensive moving of the bed and topper every morning was making everything worse. It is also very hot to sleep on. Fine the first week in April when it was cold (windows open), but when the 80+ degree temps of May hit, it was just too hot.I returned this. It was quite an effort. I got a box that a kayak came in. A box that I could comfortably lie down in and close with a ton of extra space and that was taller than me (I'm 5'5").Getting this thing in a coffin-sized box took three grown men and FOUR entire rolls of duct tape. Unless you have a commercial vacuum packing machine, you're going to need a giant box to return this thing if you don't like it.You really just need to commit to keeping it even if you hate it. Cut it up and make fancy dog beds or something. I mean, I understand that it is a KING SIZED 4 inch thick mattress, but it comes in a box so small you may be deceived into thinking you'll be able to return it with ease. Not even the $20 wardrobe box from the local big box hardware store could contain this beast!I just want you to NOT think, "Hey, I'll try it out. I can always return it if I don't love it."Easier said than done, my friend. Easier said than done.

My memory foam bed is hot (even though when I bought it they said it wouldn't be) and harder than I like. To try to remedy this problem, three years ago I purchased a cool gel memory foam topper. While it made the bed more comfortable, it did not help the heat problem. As my topper seemed to be wearing out recently, I began the hunt for a new memory foam topper and read many MANY reviews. I am so glad I settled on this Subrtex gel-infused memory foam topper. It is is comfortable and holds its shape, it has made my bed much cooler, and I'm sleeping better than I have in a long time. It did take a while for this product to arrive. I think it was about 3 weeks from order date to shipping date even using PRIME. That was a bit disappointing, but it ended up being worth the wait. I did find the topper was a little stiff the first couple nights (I let it breath 24 hours before I used it), but then it was very comfortable after that. I didn't have any issues with any smell from the foam. Great purchase. I am happy.

UpdateAfter using the mattress pad for about 3 weeks I struggled with my bag back to use. We have 2 beds and my wife absolutely loves hers and all her pains disappeared. After being told by Amazon to go away they won’t help, I reached out to the company and was extremely pleased with an offer to refund half the cost of one and not go through a huge hassle to return from Canada.I can’t say enough about a great honest and fair vendor like this one. They can be fully trusted in my opinion to take care of any issues. These days that says a lot. My only regret was it didn’t work for me.After the first night I was disappointed and was going to return. My wife loved hers so I thought I’d try again and boy I’m glad I didn’t. Third night and after having 2 back surgeries plus shoulder surgery I am super happy with this mattress pad. It goes perfectly with our new beds.Also the 10 year warranty is extremely impressive and we bought based on a NY Times review.Worth every penny. Except if you live in Canada expect to get ripped off by Amazon on the shipping charges. Even though they fulfil the order which when I called the girl stated yup you will get free shipping, I then buy and wham. $160 to ship 2 of them. No fault of the vendor. We highly recommend the product.

Very happy with this. True 3 inch thickness (I measured), and it has no smell. I know a lot of people are bothered by smells of memory foam, and I am sensitive to chemical/new car smells as well, so I was worried before buying this. I didn't notice any smell even right after unsealing it, but I let it air out and expand a couple days just in case.You definitely sink into it, but in a really relaxing way. Laying on my side no longer hurts my hip bones. by jamming them against springs.You could probably sleep on the floor with one of these and it would still be comfortable. One thing to note is this is a thick foam topper, and your old sheets and bedspread probably won't fit with this on, but this is true with any memory foam topper, just something to remember. The long 10 year warranty is also a big plus, I don't have to worry about foam failing after a couple years or a big dip forming in one side of the matress pad.
