Worth the price!
I used a Lifeproof Fré with my IPhone 6 and it kept it pristine and protected for years. I finally replaced the phone when I wasn’t able to keep the system up to date and apps stopped working, but, yeh, iPhonesmlast like that.Anyway, I was looking for a new durable case for my new 12 Pro and couldn’t find a durable, waterproof case in stores, so here I am, back on Amazon. I looked at several and balked at how much more expensive the lifeproof cases were and *hangs head in shame* went with one of the less expensive versions. It seems fine, fit the phone, came with a lanyard, all good. Or so I thought.Less than a month later, after using the phone for normal purposes, but not under water, never using anything but a clean, damp cloth, or maybe one wet with mild soapy water to clean it, the the clear window separated from the body of the case. 😲Fortunately, I was in the window of time to be able to return the case, and a position to be able to get along with out protection for a couple days. But I leaned my lesson.Look- you can buy a less expensive, waterproof case if you don’t mind doing so frequently. But lifeproof Fré is worth the money. I have dropped my phone from at least 6 feet - multiple times! Yah, I know, I’m a klutz, and I drop my phone all the time. I have dropped my phone in a lake, I the toilet, I the sink. Admit it- you’ve done the same! We use the heck out of these devices and they are expensive! It is worth it to protect them!I took my old phone in to get th battery change (ther was an issue a few years back and they change the batteries for only $30, so I took advantage of that and it g1ve me an extra two years on the phone!) and when they took it apart they said it looked like I barely used it at all! No water damage, no drop evidence (loose connections, broken bits inside, etc) and no gunk! The buttons work well, as does the touch screen. I also like that the cameras and charging port are fully covered as it keeps them from getting scratched but doesn’t cause any trouble twitch visibility or clarity. And the charging port doesn’t get any gunk in it! The slim design keeps it from being bulky, but also makes it easier t hold that the phone itself. Rubber edges help keep it from sliding around in the car, etc. and the have fund that it works fine with most car holders. It works well with mag sac charging as well, though not the Apple MagSafe wallet. Sound is still good, though maybe slightly (very slightly) decreased from the speakers, not enough to cause any trouble in most cases. Works fine with all Bluetooth accessories. Has a post for a lanyard.I have noticed that my phone heats up more, than my old phone and I don’t know if that is because of the case (same as with the 6 so that shouldn’t be it), the nature of the newer phone, or the fact that I have been using it in an Arizona summer so …..Either way, in the long run, you won’t be disappointed with the Lifeproof Fré for iPhone 12 Pro (Amazon sells versions for most other phones as well). It’s worth the investment

Don’t expect it to last more than a year
This review will echo what others have said. This is an excellent case for water protection. Dust protection. Scratch proof. And shock proof. BUT, it won’t last more than a year. A little pricey but if you know what you getting than maybe it helps your decision. The camera cover scratches easily and makes your pictures blurry. I ‘warranty’ it once and they replaced. Happened again a month later. I just took out the lens cover which meant no more waterproof. Later the screen cover scratched beyond usefulness and felt like I was sacrificing ability to see the clear screen. So I removed that screen and replaced with a glass screen protector. The rubber gasket that goes on the door for the charger disappeared after a few month of use too. Now, the ‘rubber’ covering has begun to deteriorate, melt and become sticky.

Love my Lifeproof!
I’m too clumsy to not have a case on my phone— lifeproofs have always been my go to for their durability! I also like that it fits slim to the phone, easy to install, and let me tell ya those cases that bust apart when they fall don’t stand a CHANCE against these. I like the feel of the case versus other cases. Cleans easy and the price is right!!I have noticed some “tears” one being the charger flap which is obviously used frequently. One next to the volume in the softer part of the case which is normal for my lifestyle.

Best phone case ever
I dropped my phone off a three story building balcony and it hit concrete. The phone had no damage. I also used to think you could break your phone and lifeproof would replace it WHICH IS NOT TRUE. So I would throw my phone as hard as I could into brick walls and it’s still totally okay. The case breaks way before the phone but they have a lifetime warranty and will send new cases if it stops functioning

Camera blurry
This case did a great job protecting but it made my photos blurry from covering the camera
