If possible, I would rare this product a negative number of stars! Even 2 drops is enough to make it look like your hair has never been washed. It makes hair so greasy and it's almost impossible to wash off completely in a single shampoo session. It took me almost a week to wash the product off completely after just a single application. I overwashed my hair and scalp in the hopes that it would remove the residue off, but it only resulted in my hair and scalp drying out and ruining the balance of my scalp- it took a while to return back to normal. I purchased this in the hopes that it would be similar to the intense smoothening serum that loreal had a few years back (golden bottle, with brown cap- if you know what I mean). That serum did wonders to my hair and was really good. This oily nonsense comes nowhere close to that. My hair was really negatively impacted by this product. It weighed down my hair, didn't really smooth it out or anything. It literally did nothing but making my hair look greasy and dirty after a fresh shower. Please don't buy.

This L’Oréal extraordinary oil hair serum is Worst most bad among all serums……I would give it zero…..before my hair was only frizzy….and after using it tremendous hairfall like everytime i combed more then dozens hair fall…and this is is so heavy that you can never do hair styling….it so bad over oily that aftrr applying hand and head allways sticky oily….reduced my hair density very much …i also used same shampoo too and then more worsening than i consulted my another friend….he told it is worst and he stopped it using and uses that shampoo as Toilet cleaner….it actually deserves this use only I would recommend it to never use this extraordinary oil hair serum and shampoo…Unless you want excessive hairfall and make your hairs hell worst

Review about receiving a defective product and how Amazon dealt with it. Not a review about the product itself. The packaging was very poor and the top cap to pump oil was missing. This renders the usage of this bottle useless! Such a poor design choice as well by Loreal. Amazon customer service denied return or exchange citing the 5-day return window rule since I opened it a little late! Very bad experience when it comes to: 1. the packaging by the seller. 2. the Quality checks done by Amazon before shipping. 3. Amazon being rigid in their return policy even for genuine reasons. 4. Additionally, Loreal's poor cap design and flimsy plastic caps which can easily fall-off for such premium product.

This serum smells good but it's not worth the price, because it feels heavy and greasy, mostly it feels like applying oil on our hair strands, not like other loreal paris total repair (5) serum. Actually the loreal paris total repair(5) serum has changed their formula, it feels like conditioner so that's the reason I bought this loreal paris extraordinary oil hair serum, but this also feels not good, it like applying oil on our hair. I have decided to return this item because it's not given the result as i was expected. Attached my palm photo where you all can see the oilness in my hand.

Quality of serum is very poor earlier I have used many times this particular serum but this time my hair is getting oily instead of being friz free it is making my dull and oily but I can surely say that some kind of oil is mixed in this serum , @l'oreal at least I have not expected from this branded co. #fradulent mixing

I think this is the only product from Loreal that has ever disappointed me. It is very oily in texture and not lightweight at all. It claims to act as heat protectant but when applied all over the length of hair, even in small amount, it makes very oily and tacky. The next day after application when you shampoo ur hair, u will find that it makes hair very rough and the shampoo doesn't lather up properly because of this loreal product. I am highly disappointed and want to throw it in trash. 1 out of 5 stars.

It's a tiny tiny size and I finding realize it before buying. But is a good product and you don't need much for every application. Smells good also. Does the job well

Helps tame my hair, I have fine hair that has blow aways, which this helps bring back and smooth out my hair. Even though it's small it lasts a long time. I also have oily hair and was worried using an oily product but doesn't seem to have made my hair any more oily.
