This was perfect for my Staghorn Fern. I didn't want to mount it just yet and this is perfect for what I wanted. The coir liner is thick but still allows great drainage. This size is awesome and I'll more than likely pot my other fern into the 2nd one. It's well made and sturdy, cannot say one negative thing. Very happy! You can't find this deal in stores, value for the money is impressive.

These are just the right size for area needing only small hanging pots. I like the basket liners as they will stay moist for more than a day once they are well soaked. Keeps the need for watering down even in the hot dry days to usually every other day. They also hold up well when totally rain drenched like we had 2 inches of rain in less than 24 hours last weekend and again just yesterday.

I will use them.. but smaller and chain are flimsy

I bought 2 sets of 2 - 8" baskets. Two are hanging on our lamp post. The other two are hanging on a shepherd's hook opposite the hummingbird feeders.I measured before purchase and the 8" baskets fit nicely. The baskets are lightweight which is important for where we have them hanging. This is our first season using them so I can't speak to the durability over time.The picture shows the baskets hanging off the lamp post. I bought flowers in a bucket suitable for 8"-10" baskets. They were easy to plant, just drop them in.The other two I used a combination of two different types of flowers.

I wanted to see what orchids would look like if allowed to hang like the do in the wild. I'm very pleased with these baskets. The chains are easy to asking. I used orchid potting mix and they drain well. They are hanging over my kitchen sink so just drain right into the sink!
