Strong Is the New Pretty: A Guided Journal for Girls

I bought this for my 12 yr old grand daughter for Christmas. She said she has been writing in it every night and is really enjoying it. I was a little unsure it would be a good gift, once I saw it and looked through it, it was just what I needed. I bought the book Strong is the new Pretty to go with. Highly recommend it

This journal is great! I bought it for my niece. But in my opinion it is great for women of all ages that desire to believe in themselves & be just a little but better than they were yesterday! The journal prompts are awesome! And in general, the message “strong is the new pretty” is awesome! I wish there was a 2020 wall calendar! I loved that to log workouts & feel inspired!

Bought this for my 7 year old for Christmas & it has been amazing as a way to open conversations and to reinforce her sense of who she is. I love the fact that none of it plays to stereotypes of any "type" of girl but encourages girls to be whoever they want to be - princess, fairy, explorer, footballer, superhero - everything. Our favourite page is the mirror writing one - stand in front of the mirror & say / shout what you see :)
