Works perfectly with one hilarious note.
This is a secure strap. Well-sewn, adjustable for different heights for waist-level viewfinder comfort, clips on with secure steel clips. The only funny thing is it literally says "FOR HASSELBLAD" on the leather. I didn't look so closely at the photos and assumed they meant compatibility but hilarious it does what it says on the strap!

It fits, and looks good
I am more than pleased with this strap. Hasselblad has special lugs that protrude from either side of the body in which to attach a strap. No lugs. So this strap has the correct attachments that securely clip around the lugs. Leather strength near the lugs, transitions to lightweight, strong and comfortable black 1" wide webbing for the rest of the strap. I feel confident hanging my 500 C/M from this strap.
