unique applicator
I started using Lancer skincare products a few years ago and loved it. Until I got this eye serum, I had forgotten about their products since we're inundated with so many wonderful skincare products these days. I'm glad to be circling back to Dr Lancer's products. I really enjoyed using this eye serum. It is very different from any eye cream I've seen in that there is a metal applicator tip you can use to massage in the serum and just give your eye area a massage after you've applied the serum. If you put this in the fridge it will have an even cooler effect, which is great for puffy eyes. No, the metal applicator tip isn't a new invention and there are skincare products that have this but you definitely don't see it too often. The serum itself has a nice consistency, very easy to spread and apply, and very moisturizing. It doesn't feel too heavy but it does a great job moisturizing my eye area. This product is so similar to my Paula's Choice Hyaluronic Acid Lip Booster (lipbalm/gloss) it is like lipgloss for the eye area! I was slightly disappointed to see it does have silicones in it (Polymethylsilsesquioxane), as I try to avoid that in any of my skincare/haircare products. Most people don't have a problem with that so it is really a personal choice. Aside from that, it is a great eye cream. If you're not picky about using the "cleanest", most gentle ingredients, do give this eye cream a try and also check out other Lancer products, they're great.I didn't see the ingredients list posted on this Amazon description page so I'll go ahead and post it here in case anyone needs to refer to it:Water / Aqua / Eau, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Caprylyl Caprylate/Caprate, Niacinamide, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Caffeine, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Hydrolyzed Jojoba Esters, HDI/Trimethylol, Hexyllactone Crosspolymer, Terminalia Ferdinandiana Fruit Extract, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract, Avena Sativa (Oat) Bran Extract, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Extract, Tocopherol, Lecithin, Sclerotium, Gum, Pullulan, Xanthan Gum, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Silica, Disodium EDTA, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Sulfite, Ascorbic Acid, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate

Best applicator I've come across so far
I love eye creams that come with these cooling applicators. However, I'm always wary of the cleanliness of them since the previous ones I've had usually has the cream coming from the middle of the applicator. This one has the applicator on the side which is perfect so that I can wipe the applicator clean after each use. This eye serum is really describes the consistency of this. It is somewhat on the thinner side like a serum so it's very easy to smooth under the eyes. The applicator adds a nice cooling sensation as it goes on which feels really nice first thing in the morning. After starting this eye serum, I noticed results in just a couple days. The fine lines were way less noticeable and the dark circles faded. It has just the touch of stickiness to it after it dries but I find that common with other products that contain Aloe. Overall I really like this eye serum and applicator but I wonder if following up with some time of moisturizer would make this even more effective since this lacks any occlusive agents to help create a barrier holding the product on the skin longer.INGREDIENTS /INGRÉDIENTS : Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Caprylyl Caprylate/Caprate, Niacinamide, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Caffeine, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Hydrolyzed Jojoba Esters, HDI/Trimethylol Hexyllactone Crosspolymer, Terminalia Ferdinandiana Fruit Extract, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract, Avena Sativa (Oat) Bran Extract, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Extract, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Lecithin, Sclerotium Gum, Pullulan, Xanthan Gum, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Silica, Disodium EDTA, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Sulfite, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium SorbateReview For:3D Hyaluronic Eye Serum with Vitamin C Brightening Complex.5 FL OZ, Dr. Lancer Dermatology Skincare, Serum Directly Targets the Appearance of Fine Lines and Wrinkles, Puffiness and Dark Circles

Lightweight, No Residue, Great Applicator, Cooling on Contact
The Lancer 3D Hyaluronic Eye Serum comes in a 0.5oz mirrored poly plastic tube, outfitted with a clever little applicator tip. See images. The serum is a lightweight cloudy gel. Doesn’t appear to have any added colors or fragrances. A little goes a long way. It is suitable to use a.m. and p.m. Users are told to gently squeeze the tube to dispense the product from the tip and use the metal applicator to massage in the serum. It’s a little tricky at first but you’ll figure it out.The metal disc you apply it with is smoothing and creates a wonderful cooling affect on contact. No tugging or dragging. It just glides. I prefer to use it (than my fingers) when applying this I serum. It provides a luxurious experience. Also I think the cooling does calm the puffiness around the eyes. The serum does not leave any sort of lingering residue, and absorbs well without feeling heavy, greasy, sticky, nor does it cause any flaking or pilling of any other products when used together. No irritation, flares, or problems. I like this a lot.The Lancer serum is pleasant to use, feels great on the skin, seems effective at soothing and lessening puffiness, and I like the function and quality of the applicator.

Smoothing eye serum with a soothing applicator.
I love this applicator...at least, in theory. It's unique in that the product is dispensed from one side while the flat metal other side is very cooling and helps de-puff tired eyes. It's also a bit frustrating because you can't really control how much serum it dispenses, and it always squeezes out too much. The serum itself is just that--a serum, not a moisturizer, so an additional eye cream is recommended. At least, that's how I use this product. I apply it before my eye cream, letting it dry into my skin between products. And I like it! It feels moisturizing and soothing, and I think it might be lightening my dark circles. The Dr. Lancer skincare line is well-known, although this is the first Lancer product I have used. There's a real doctor--an. actual dermatologist, even!--behind the brand name, and products are developed using science, not current trends or wishful thinking. Best of all, all of their products are 100% cruelty-free! No finished products or ingredients are ever tested on animals, whether by Lancer or any third-party suppliers, and Lancer products are not sold anywhere in the world where such cruel and unnecessary testing is compulsory. YAY!!If you can afford to experiment with products at this price point, this eye serum is well worth trying.

Applicator Feels Great▪️Minimizes Fine Lines, Hydrates Well & Some Brightening▪️Good Ingredients
I’m 50+ with dry and sensitive skin. This Dr. Lancer 3D Hyaluronic Eye Serum with Vitamin C Brightening Complex is one of my favorite eye serums. It comes in a tube with a stainless steel applicator that feels cold against my skin even unrefrigerated. I dispensed too much serum initially, but find it relatively easy to control now that I’m aware that just a light squeeze is needed for the product to come out of a hole in a plastic piece under the stainless applicator.I gently squeeze the tube and dispense the product around my eyes from that plastic piece and then spread the serum with the stainless applicator. I let it sit and then gently pat in any excess serum. The cap only fits one direction, and I hold the tube close to the top to remove it or put the cap on so I don’t squeeze out product accidentally. This serum soaks in well, isn’t sticky and appears to be fragrance free as I don’t smell anything. It doesn’t cause any skin or eye irritation or interfere with my makeup. This serum does quickly plump, hydrate and smooth my fine lines exceptionally well. My eye area looks and feels more refreshed. I have chronic dark circles that will never go away, but I do feel like my eye area is looking brighter having used this consistently for a couple weeks. I don’t get puffiness, so I can’t address that issue except to say the cold applicator and some ingredients (possibly caffeine, etc.) might help with that issue depending on the cause of the puffiness. This serum has a of impressive ingredients I look for in skin care. It has effective moisturizing ingredients, such as Glycerin, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Vitamin E and Butylene Glycol. This also has Niacinamide and Vitamin C from Kakadu Plum for brightening and Vitamins B3, C and E provide antioxidant benefits. While it gets mixed opinions, this also has caffeine. Nothing stands out as being a health risk. I feel good about the ingredients, enjoy using this serum and love the results so far. 5 stars.
