Great product, scent not so great
Perfect for my hair style. Only complaint is scent is not very pleasant, but it's not terrible either. I'd use it over everything else I'd try.

Great product! Smells great. Adjustable all day.
Overall impression:Great product. Medium hold. Smells great. Washes out well.I love this product. It has a great smell and a nice soft non glossy or hard waxy hold. I can run my hands through it all day and not have any flaking or cracking or any crazy hair, easily readjust able. I have a short cut sides, high taper and short up to my part. The front of my hair is longer for a nice quiaff. After showering, (only wash my hair every 2-3 days for optimal health), I towel dry. Apply a quarter size of moose into my palm and message into the damp hair at the roots. Next I use a men's boar bristle brush with a blow dryer on a low heat and high speed settings brushing my hair to the part side, forward in the back to calm my occipital Coe lick, and straight on the bangs for good volume. Next I take a finger dollop size amount of product, smear on my palms and warm product to a nice consistency between my palms. Then apply the product along the grain of my part and quiaff. Next intake a large spaced comb and control any unruly hairs. If it is rainy or windy or close to my next haircut I will apply a tiny amount of hairspray. Smells great but arrives as a hockey puck
I've been a fan of the Suavecito gloss pomade (i.e. not premium line) for a while now, and wanted to try some of their matte to mix things up; since I was also curious about their premium line, I figured I'd try both in one product.Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. As a few other reviews here have noted, an overly dry almost crumbly texture was what I was greeted with, to the extent that even with some vigorous spreading and mixing between palms to apply wasn't enough to make it useful.Since it's the first time I've tried this product I figured it was just part of the "regular" texture of matte pomades, but as a few pictures in positive reviews here show, a more cream-like consistency in a "good" batch is what should have be seen. I also noticed the hockey puck-like block had evenly contracted away from the sides of the container, implying it was indeed once a larger volume that had condensed down to size.I figured I'd play scientist for a bit and tried out a few tests to see how tight the seal in the can was; I submerged it underwater in the sink about half an inch down for a minute or two, and noticed a small pool of water had formed. I tried this with the plastic container from the regular product line and did not see the same apparent leakage. I also noticed the metal can in this product lacked a rubber/Styrofoam gasket around the rim of the can's lid, which I've seen in many products with a similar package (if you're curious, check the lid of any Mason canning jars you have on hand to see what I mean). However, rather than return it outright I tried a little mix with water by hand to see if that could save the hassle, and while it became manageable to work in my hair, enough small dry crumbs lasted that it made my head look like I had the worst case of dandruff this decade. So unfortunately, this isn't an inconvenience fixable with some elbow grease.tl;dr:I'm not sure if this is just bad/cheap packaging design or a stay far too long in the warehouse, but something in the supply chain needs a rework to prevent this overly dried product. But if this is the intended texture, this is just a bad pomade. One honest positive though: the more subtle lavender smell is greatly preferable to me versus the generic line's scent.

Good product, terrible packaging
I normally use the standard matte product and like it, but I ordered this one by accident. I actually like the smell and it holds as well as the standard product. My main issue is with the metal can it comes in. The metal is so thin that it bent when I opened the lid. Not it will lot fully seal and I expect the product to dry quickly. I’ll order the standard matte product again next time instead of this.
