Koah Dive Knife 4.5" with Magnetic Sheath for Spearfishing, Diving, Scuba

I’m not one to write negative reviews or be picky, with that being said I’ve seen the quality Koah puts into their guns so I figured that same quality would apply to their knives as well. The sharpness and handle are both great. The reason I bought this knife is because I saw the magnetic sheath and liked that feature. The two problems I have with it is the rubber retainer ring broke on the second use of the knife and you can’t trust the magnet by itself to hold the knife (I lost the first one I bought my first dive with it). The biggest issue I have with it and why I’m giving it three stars is because the knife rusted after being in the saltwater just once. (Yes it was thoroughly rinsed and cleaned after with fresh water) and it still rusted significantly. That’s my two cents.

Arrived razor sharp. Balance is great and it's quick and handy for dispatching fish. Also a great rope cutter. The magnetic scabbard took me a bit to start trusting. But I've still got the knife and we've been thru a lot together.😁Good product.

Knife is awesome. Very well made and very sharp. Just has the same old flimsy sheath that almost every other dive knife comes with regardless of the brand. Riffe, koah, hammerhead, mako, Omer, literally all of them have a knife if the 50 ish dollar price range that has this exact sheath. I do like that koah put a magnet in it. It only contacts one side of the blade, so buy a 5 dollar lanyard to keep it in place.
