Makes me sad that Nvidia has abandoned the low end
This is not a gaming card. It is more or less the lowest spec 700 series card that can be bought.Keep this in mind. I use this in an HTPC and it works perfectly for live Television and movie play back.

Where's the Maxwell version of this card? Disappointing they are dumping this old 2012 Kepler stuff on us still while we wait.
I am testing a build on this for a friend who bought this card.I wouldn't recommend this card unless you have plenty of air flow. The heatsink on it gets super hot at idle. This is the problem with Kepler architecture and why they need huge heatsinks to cool down. They chopped this chip down as much as they could to reduce the heat sink size requirement. I can't imagine how hot it would get doing some light gaming. Sapphire makes better passive heat sinks then this. This should be sold for $15 max given the slower 1GB GDDR3 memory. It should be at least 2GB GDDR3 or 1GB GDDR5 for $20 max for this card. The positive is it at least it had legacy video connectors which makes this a very versatile graphics card:HDMIDVIandVGAThis being released in 2016 is disappointing that this card is based on the older Kepler (2010) architecture and not the energy performance refined Maxwell (2012) architecture which has the improved power reduction to half of Kepler and higher performance which almost makes it four times as powerful on equal wattage. The GTX 750 was the best low wattage high performance Maxwell graphics card and was hoping they would release a very low end passive version based on Maxwell architecture with XP, W7, W10 driver support and this is not it.They need to release a GTX 1010 which would supposedly use the Maxwell architecture even though the numbering scheme is wonky since they skipped 900 series completely. This would probably cut down the power to 10-15 Watts or lower and be double the performance of the GTX 710.Sadly no sign of this happening yet while left with this old 2010 architecture substitute. We could have a had a beefier 2GB GDDR5 Maxwell with half the wattage which would be great for everything including light gaming...

Beautiful little card for what it does. Not a gaming video card, but have to use while my regular video card in step up process with EVGA. Works at 1080p and does it nicely.

but even around $30 it is hands down the best option for just adding screen real estate
This card goes on sale from time to time at the $25 price point, but even around $30 it is hands down the best option for just adding screen real estate. The entry level 7 series cards were the first to allow all 3 connectors to drive a monitor. (610 has 3 ports but can only drive 2 monitors at a time) For office productivity and pretty much universal compatibility due to its low power consumption and passive cooler this card can not be beat. For anything beyond office/web browsing I would strongly discourage trying. You're looking at performance roughly equal to the integrated graphics on an Intel i5/i7 4000 series.

working great, but it does put out some heat. The heat sink could be a little bigger.
