Carz Guard Windshield Cover for Car

So far I love this cover. My primary purpose for buying it was to keep the pine needles off my windshield and this covers every inch of my Jeep Grand Cheroke windshield, vents and much of the hood from damaging leaves and needles. It is a lightweight material and goes off and on in less than a few minutes. Far less time than it takes to clean the car without it. I have not had the snow experience yet. I am not certain I have it installed to perfection but have figured out a way to make it work well. We have not had strong winds yet but the side covers can be tucked and shut inside car doors if windy so I am hoping for the same performance under those conditions. The product was very reasonably priced and has made my life so much easier since I don't fight with my car windshield every time I get in it and I don't have to worry about Mother Nature damaging my car and engine with all her leaves, sticks and pine needles. It might even be discouraging my husband's outdoor cats from jumping on my car since they don't like slick material. When I take it off I either toss it in the back of the Jeep or on my outdoor swing and it dries quickly. When it wears out I will purchase it again.

You ever have pine sap fall on your car and spend hours, and I mean hours, cleaning it off? Your windshield looks so bad you find it a hazard just drive? I was at the end, I tried everything, then I found this product, and while the sap keeps falling; my windshield stays clean and pristine and I am a happy guy!Priced to fit any and every budget, this was easy to cover the car and easy to store. I have 2 different model cars and each one now has a protective cover, plus I also like the fact this will work for the harsh winter of New England. Also as an added bonus, it helps keep the car cooler.About the only drawback is it only comes in silver, maybe the manufacturer can take care of this in the future. This makes a great birthday, Father's day or even Christmas gift. A very worthwhile and financially smart purchase!

Good idea. Terrible quality. The stitching is coming apart out of the box. The hooks to attach at the four corners are a flimsy and not adjustable.I did not even bother requesting a replacement as I'm sure next one would be the same. I'll just use it for this hot summer and, in the mean time, look for a better option.Again, the idea is good and I wish this seller would come up with a higher quality product, even at a higher price.,

Overall this item is as described and I am satisfied with it. I only give it a 3 star as there are some refinements that could be done to improve quality. For starters, along the top (part that covers across the roof) is where the fabric is cut, folded under and stitched. There is a log of fraying here and it is just a very unclean finish. Next, the hooks that hold the tarp down are plastic. For now this is not an issue, but as it gets colder and then much warmer in the summer months I fear for the longevity of these hooks as climate degrades the plastic and will have to be replaced. My final concern is the bag to store the tarp is the same material as the cover. This is not a very breathable material and as rain, snow, frost build up on the cover, there is not adequate time to dry the cover before storing it for the day. I worry that the inside of the bag will fall victim to growth if not managed closely.

Fits 2004 Toyota Sequoia like a glove and makes ice and snow so much easier. Great product

Was looking for something better than the "Shade-It" sun shade, so I picked this up and added a few modifications. The heat build up under the cover can be lowered by adding something under the cover to keep it off the windshield, like a few cheap dollar store plastic net sponges. To attach them under the cover I used stick on velcro patches (that cost about $4.00) cut down into 1" squares, stick velcro squares together using the velcro. remove sticky tape from one side and place it on a net, take off other sticky tape and stick the net under the cover. I also placed velcro squares on area below the wipers to secure the cover better. If you don't need the nets in the winter, just pull them off. Patent not pending,Stay cool!

Yes! Finally! One that is easy to install, fits my Caddy and his Subaru. Stays on in a strong windy snowstorm or torrential Ice storm or even a blistering hot sunny day. Worth every penny. I bought this months ago and still love it.Edit: Year 2. Stuck it on the car and accidentally ran the windshield wipers while remote starting it. They tore it to bits. But it worked so well last year I came back to repurchase it. This new one is silver on both sides ( I thought it was black on one last year?). Still works great. Only issue is you get a little thin layer of frost on the windshield under the cover. But it's super thin and melts off in a minute or two. It's pretty easy to get off, and it let me pull 4 inches of snow off the car in 2 minutes when I was late to an appointment. Wish is was black, but I still love it.

I have a 2014 Chevy Sonic and the large size fits perfectly. I was concerned that the side-view mirror pockets would be too far apart or too close together to fit my car, but they aren't. One of my favorite features is the length of the cover. It covers my windshield wipers completely with about a foot to spare, and completely covers the front windows as well. I really like the internal strap as well to aid in theft prevention and to hold the cover in place during windy conditions. I have another snow cover similar to this one, but I like this one better. I'm glad I bought it and will do it again when it wears out.
