Jackson Galaxy Refillable Twisted Kicker with Catnip

My feral girl Loves this Petmate Jackson Galaxy Refillable Twisted kicker. Purrfect length to hold, kick, rub and lick. The velcro is very strong, so it stays closed. And the materials seem tough enough that it can be washed when it gets too grungy. I like to buy refillable toys so I can empty out the tired old catnip and not only refill them, but toss them in a lingerie bag and wash them with kitty bedding. Sure kitty loses her scent on them, but they are like new toys again. She seems to appreciate it.

My cat loves this toy! It didn't look too impressive when I received it, so I wasn't sure she'd be interested, but she immediately sniffed it, then flopped down & started bunny kicking the s*** out of it! She loves it & hasn't gotten tired of it, so this toy is a big winner for my cat!Seems made well, as it hasn't started falling apart through all her rough play time with it.If your cat likes playing with kicker type toys, get this one! It will be a hit!

All the cats in the house love these toys. The only constructive feedback is that they need to change the design so that the black material covers the whole kicker and the tan sacking material is simply sewn on top as that would improve the durability. I have had 3 of these fail in the tan section, either where the black and tan material join or within the tan material itself. I have attached photos of this on the latest one to show how it has failed.Despite this constructive criticism I am still rating this a 4 due to the how much all the cats love these toys. I have just now started buying the plush version of the kicker toy (which has no contrasting material) with the hope it won't have the same issue.

My cat LOVES this toy. She destroyed it within a month. I love that the catnip is refillable. She goes crazy, biting and licking and kicking it. I love it when a toy hits the mark. Its usually not the toy really but the cat who decides if they like it or not. My cat loves it and knew just what to do. So my review/rating is based on the quality and this seems great so far and it's been several weeks. Durable so far, no tearing or separating at seems. Material feels substantial and the cat nip is well protected and doesn't leak out.

Most Important- PLEASE WASH & RINSE THOROUGHLY MANY MANY TIMES! The Hugh amount of BLACK DYE that comes out has to be dangerous especially if a cat is going to lick the toy they will ingest dye. I always wash New Toys and Bedding for my Babies for Sanitation reasons.Odd looking toy- it looks like two severed cat paws connected with a stretchy bandage. I wish the stretchy bandage was a piece of sturdy fabric like the rest of the toy. Interesting concept: the center of the toy has an opening that is sealed by concealed Velcro ( so outside where cats contact is smooth.) Inside is a small pouch to place the small bag that can be refilled with catnip. This catnip bag is also Velcro closed. I think this is a great idea. This is convenient to fill and gives a couple layers of protection against possible sharp catnip stems. [Catnip can have painful, sharp needle-like dried stems. I've had them pierce my skin. Can you imagine the pain it could cause your cat if they lick one or rub their face on a toy and the sharp stem pokes their eye?] I think this toy has potential. I wish that Kiki & Charlie played with toys more. I did squeeze the catnip pouch to release the fragrance and Charlie played a little and then put his head on it and took a nap- makes a good pillow!

I have purchased lots of refillable catnip toys of various brands. The Jackson Galaxy brand is much better quality than all of the others. The material is better and the workmanship is better. The removable pouch makes refilling easy and less messy. Having the catnip inside a quality inner pouch releases the catnip more slowly which provides more challenging play. My cat loves this toy. I love watching her play with it.

Product description is misleading. It’s not durable at all. I don’t know who this Jackson Galaxy dude is but he sucks at making cat toys 🤦🏼‍♂️

Our cats absolutely adored this toy. They were fighting over it before we even took it out of the wrapping. It didn't last forever, but it was good quality and survived quite a bit of abuse from our ferocious felines before needing to be replaced.

My cat loved this kicker. As soon as we took it out he started playing around with it. He had fun flipping around with it, clawing with his back paws and had a good bite at it. Definitely recommend to burn off some energy in cats. A+++
