Yes it can be used on open wounds. The product works best when applied at the early stages of the wound healing process, but will still work on granulation tissue (the pink stage).

All of our products come from an ISO certificated manufacturing facility where they are tested for safety prior to release. They are shipped directly from the manufacturing facility to Amazons distribution center.

How often should I change a bandage when used with the hydrogel?

The Hydrogel can be applied at every dressing change. Generally dressing changes are recommended twice a day, however your healthcare provider may recommend changing it more often.
