BrewGlobal Coffee Gear Digital Dose Scale 500g/0.1g (CGDOSE500)

It works great. But only use this for coffee and not food. The scale does not have a wide range. The screen is alittle hard to read if you try to look straight down on it but if you move back alittle it is very clear.

I purchased it since it had a small form factor and use it for weighing my espresso shots as they are pouring. It also works well for dosing grinds/beans if you are only using the portafilter basket without the handle.Overall the quality is alright, but as other reviewers have mentioned the scale takes a long time to boot up and perform the initial taring. The buttons are also fairly small and are not particularly responsive with the scale often not registering a press. An added quirk, my scale does not seem to like to power on/tare with anything more than 100g on it as it throws a "cal" (calibrate?) error. The sluggishness and overall user experience of the scale makes this a "do not recommend" for me.

Accurate scale, but the platform is too small for the portafilter and the display is angled so that it is impossible to read from directly above the scale. May be good for single dosing into a cup, but not great for and espresso setup. It also takes a long time to boot up and tare. I have the brewista scale from brew global and it is awesome! This one misses the mark in a few key areas.

The scale's ability is exceeded by the portafilter and is unusable.

This scale is to small for porta filter weighing.not for repeated use.
