Picking my dogs full-time collar and tarnished after about just a month but I guess you get what you pay for

Clasp is Garbage, Breaks at Slightest Resistance
This is a nice chain, and relatively durable. However the clasp is garbage. First time it gets tugged on it is going to break. There will be enough left to jury-rig it into place again, then that too will break the second time it gets tugged. If you want it as a pretty and decorative chain, it's great. But your dog is going to lose it at the first bit of resistance.

Looks great...But
Looks fantastic! Not a collar for everyday or for a leash it is purely for fashion. This is not a thick collar or strong enough to be used for a correction. I have to keep a real collar on my dog for walks. After months of normal wear, it started to smell like the metal it is made from. Now I use it as a party collar. The gold has faded very drastically from the first day. Almost done even see it after less than a year of use.

Thick Clasp Good 4 Grasp
It is not as big as I imagined but I am impressed with how this each link is as well as the clasp and o ring. My dog does not pull but does put up some resistance. It has withstand that test and didn’t break. It has not lost its shine or plated gold, and our boy has been inside and out in snow.
