Amazon Collection IGI-Certified 18k Gold Diamond Studs

I was initially hesitant about purchasing such a high-value pair of earrings sight unseen but I am glad I took the plunge. I had scoured local shops and visited many websites but chose Amazon based on previous positive purchasing experiences and the high number of positive ratings for the product. I ended up purchasing the 0.75cttw in white gold for $730. I watched the product for a while as prices fluctuate so am very happy with the deal I got. Having previously (and devastatingly) lost one of my 1cttw diamond studs that had a push post back, I was specifically looking for one with screw backs as I hope these will be more 'loss proof'. I did find it a bit fiddly to put on, however, I am more than happy to cope with a bit of fiddliness given how secure they feel. I will be wearing these for everyday wear a will not be taking them off very often.They arrived in a very lovely presentation box, the navy colour making the diamonds sparkle even more prominent. If they were a gift they would certainly be very impressive being presented in this box.I have no regrets on this purchase, the earrings are just lovely. They are very clear and sparkly which was my greatest concern purchasing sight unseen. I cannot see any obvious inclusions and they are certainly not cloudy which was my biggest fear. Although only being a 'good' in terms of cut, they are still incredibly sparkly and impressive. I am actually incredibly surprised with the quality of this product given the price. I did note however that although the product description said that the diamonds were a minimum weight of 0.75cttw, the IGI certification states they are only 0.71cttw. I contacted customer service and they were incredibly quick to offer a discount to address the discrepancy in what I ordered compared to what was advertised. I cannot fault the customer service from Amazon, it was amazing. So despite being a bit smaller than I thought I was ordering, I absolutely love them and would certainly recommend this product.

Purchased this for a gift. Quality is trash compared to earrings that I had previously purchased from Blue Nile with similar color/clarity. Looks like dirty pieces of glass versus shiny diamonds (Blue Nile). You can see flaws with the naked eye, under no magnification. Extremely disappointed; however, item was purchased for a gift and too late to return by the time I received it. Reluctantly gave it as a gift anyways. :(

I was lucky to buy these beautiful Diamond 18K studs at $280.00 - was hesitant cause seemed to good to be true-now I see they have gone up in price-but they are still worth the higher price. pretty white sparkly diamonds-they will look small in your hand, but when in ear they look & give a nice presence-can definitely notice! Received over a month ago & have not taken out of my ears since. They continue to have white color & no yellow! : )

Amazon product description talks about diamond certification but the fine print says that no certificate will be provided. I ordered this item and NO certificate was provided.Also, Amazon charges 15% restocking fee for jewelry returns. And all returns need to be insured. So, return becomes super expensive. THINK before you buy jewelry from Amazon.com. You are probably better off buying from a local store.

My daughter who is 9 months old bought these for my wife for Christmas. They were a lot cheaper than what we looked at in the store. I was a little worried on buying the diamonds without seeing them but knowing they were from Amazon, I knew Amazon would not sale cheap diamonds. I would say they have a better cut, clarity and color than any of the store non-certified diamond studs I looked at. I was really impressed and as she wore them today at the family holiday party she got a lot of complaints on the sparkle.Just in case I did not like the quality, I bought a back up certified pair of ¼ ctw diamonds at a department store for $60 more and bought a jeweler's loupe to compare. Wow, what a different in quality of the diamond and setting. I am so happy with them, now I am waiting for a deal on the 1/2 ctw for Mother's Day!

I bought this a birthday gift for my girlfriend. Big mistake. They arrived with the backs outside of the posts and it is impossible to connect the posts to the backs. What a mess. Now I have 12 hours to find a replacement gift for my girl or it is the doghouse for me.

I put on the earrings the minute they arrived, and I have not taken them off since. (I think it has been three weeks? :) Personally, I think the size is just right - but then, my taste runs to the small and understated. (I have gold balls the exact same size, and most reviews thought they were too small as well.) The diamond is about three millimeters - look at a ruler before buying this, and you will not be surprised. It is a great earring for second piercing (in the same ear), or you can use both in the same ear, and do something different in the other ear, if you like that kind of effect. I think it looks great.I will be the first to admit that I know very little about diamonds, but prior to ordering these earrings, I did some reading on the four c's. I also compared the price to similar carats and cuts on other sites, and most were more expensive while having inferior color and clarity.

Another very good deal on diamonds through Amazon. I had been wanting to buy my wife diamond earrings to complement her nice tennis bracelet (also from Amazon) and occasionally checked online because prices seem to fluctuate wildly. I came across these at $272 and pulled the trigger--glad I did when I did because the next day they went to $484! I wouldn't pay that but I couldn't find anything comparable for $272 anywhere. The color and clarity are good and although the cut is only "good" they have a good amount of fire to them. Plus, I trust the quality of The Amazon Collection. I don't think I would buy from some of the other jewelry vendors but that's your call... So this was a win-win. I like to make my wife happy--and she loves them--and I like a good deal!
