Great, tough silicon-made item
I bought this to use with a Lodge cast-iron skillet (bought from amazon.co.uk, too)...It remained in a closet for a few months (waiting for the skillet to be used first) and then... voila! Its true purpose was revealed:My old Insinkerator (waste-disposal machine, bought from this, very amazon) was giving up the ghost. But before it did, finally burst (it was actually the capacitor which blew) with a little smoke, it tormented me by letting out, in unexpected times/moments, electrical surges. The surges would be felt upon touching the kitchen tap (faucet). No electrician was able to find the source of the surges and so, until the Insinkerator's capacitor had its one and final burst, from the fear of electrocution, we abandoned the kitchen faucet and kept using the bath tap instead. Which we weren't sure, whether it was safe to use. Until the Insinkerator-damade revealed itself, we would suspect anything. So we put this thing as a cover on the bath tap, rather as an insulator, and it fit wonderfully (I should post a pic). Finally: Problem solved (Insinkerater disposed), the silicon-item remain on the bath-tap. I think of buying another for the skillet...:-D

Buy the mini handle even for larger pans
Very good quality. However be careful there are different sizes of silicone handle to fit different pans.I found that the larger silicone handle is actually too big for most of the pans and slips off so i would recommend you buy the mini one all the time.

Not the best
It fits the skillet snugly so that's good. But it's a pain taking it off after rinsing the skillet and drying. You need to put it on before the pan gets hot too, or it's a job getting it on. Used for a month, now it's in a drawer. I think maybe I should have gotten a fabric one.

Imperfect but necessary
This item is best used with its logo on the bottom due to the possible burn inducing hanging hole on the underneath. If you can see the hole, you can avoid it easily. Although not a perfect insulator, this cover does seem to limit the handle to hot rather than 'cook the skin' and is a necessity for anyone used to grabbing pan handles rather than reaching for the oven gloves.

Save your fingers !!!
Not particularly tidy looking but very functional and a real finger saver. Fits "Lodge" handles well but a little tight on "Le Creuset" ones. Great idea if you are putting an iron pan under a grill to sear the top of a dish.
