This is the first sharpener I've had. My knives were pretty worn and even chipped a little. This sharpener did a pretty good job of filing down the chips and refining it. On most of my knives, just running it through the 5 times it says to do it, worked well. I had to use it a few more times on the really bad knives to get the chips filed down, but it did the trick. I could definitely tell a difference in the knives and how smoothly they would cut, after using this sharpener.

I really cannot think of anything wrong with this sharpener. It has a coarse, fine, and ceramic. Brought new life to some old knives, just as any good sharpener should. I also tested it with a friend of mines several year old ceramic knives and it put a good edge on them as well. Be warned, with ceramic it sounds like you are dragging an engine block on a tile floor, (We were worried, it sounded like it was destroying the knife) but we put it through 5 or 6 times and it put a nice edge on the ceramic.

This is by far the best and easiest to use knife sharpener I've ever had. It is sturdy, and works great. All my knives are nice and sharp again. The only problem I have, is that I can't remove the sharpener piece to empty the shavings. Not sure if I'm doing it wrong or just don't have the finger strength to do it. I've taken one star off for that, and the cryptic instruction on how to remove it. (It looks simple and easy, but I have not been able to do it.)

Alright so this won’t get your knifes to razor sharpness. If you want sharp sharp than buying a whetstone sharpener is your best option although it gets very expensive. But this sharpener is good at maintaining it at a good condition so I’ll just buy it again.

This knife sharpener doesn't work as quickly as my electric knife sharpener, but I didn't have access to that for a while and needed to put an edge on my knives. I was really surprised with this Gelindo 3 Stage Knife Sharpener. After I sharpened my favorite knife and used the steel, I had occasion to slice some tomatoes and an onion for a salad. I couldn't believe how easily the knife sliced the veggies. Almost like a hot knife through butter.

If you need a sharpener for your ceramic knives, this is the one to get. It quickly puts a razor sharp edge back onto your knife, making it as easy to use, as when you first purchased them. A relatively small sharpener that, as easy as it is effective. Very happy with this purchase.

This actually works. I'm pretty careful with my knives but eventually all knives need to sharpened. I almost bought a sharpening stone but decided to give this gadget a try because I thought it would be easier and quicker. It is and it is. Well made and comfortable in the hand. As I said, I take care of my knivesso im not sure how this sharpener would work on a really dull blade. It works fine for me.

I have never owned a sharpener before and had the dullest knives in town until I tried this wonderful sharpener. It is well made and so quick and easy to use. Instead of holding a sharpener in the air as you do with some others, this one sits nicely on the counter. You hold it securely while sharpening your knife. My drawer of knives are really sharp now. A useful addition to my kitchen! I will be purchasing another as a gift and do recommend you try it.

Sends to be a nice solid piece of kit, from the times I have used it so far it does seem to sharpen the knife blades, just not as much as I thought it would. Ok for the money though.

Works brilliantly. Lack of star for the full "5" because the sharpening block under the cover labeled to tell you where to put which type of knife was the wrong way round. Just a fluke in the manufacturing I'd imagine and easily noticed with some common sense.

You need to get this item, excellent kitchen tool to have if you like sharp knives.

Having owned this for a short while now, I can recommend this sharpener.Has brought a sharp edge back to all my kitchen knives.I have not used the ceramic sharpener, so cannot comment on that.

Great poduct! I have used all three slots to test it on different types of knives and it worked perfectly. This product is sturdy and well finished so looks good as well as works as expected.
