Why didn’t I know these existed years earlier?
Yes, you still need to carefully line up your wires.Yes, it requires the correct crimper that will actually terminate the wires after passing through. But removing one step of having to precut, as well as ensuring the jacket sleeve can get as far into the connector as possible, are totally worth it.I added Cat6 throughout my house and easily saw gigabit speeds when crimping properly with this and the Klein tools crimper, which had the handy markings for wire arrangements. As always, double or triple check wire order before crimping. And a wire tester isn’t a bad idea either, saved me time in a few instances. All told, it came out 150 bucks cheaper than a mesh WiFi network, but that certainly came out of me through all the work that was required. But the reassurance of a quality wired signal was worth all the work.If you are making the choice to use cabling, adding these connectors will definitely make your whole process easier.

Connector was good, Strain Relief not.
I ran serious Cat 6 cabling in my house that is thick, inflexible, has shielding built-in, and heavy duty solid copper wires. The connectors work fine, but I can't get the strain relief boot to fit over the cable. I spent too much time trying to make it work, and finally gave up.I also didn't realize these were pass-through, which require a different crimping tool. It's clear on the description, so it was an oversight on my part. It was a pleasant mistake because I prefer the pass-through now that I've used it. Every cable I've made has tested successfully. If I had to purchase again, I'd get the version with only the connector. If I was only reviewing the connector, I'd give it 5 stars.

I should have pass on these
I was making cat6a cable - well they really are to much of a pain for this. Maybe on cat5 but on cat6a the cable won't go into the socket with out a lot of pushing. You should not have to push in the cable into a to small socket - your crimp-er sets the cable in place you can damage a cat6a when you crimp it. Not for 6a - ya maybe 5 or smaller.

Good connectors, but I had came across one with missing pins.
I like the interface between the boot and the end. However I can't give it 5 stars because for the first time I had a connector that was missing pins.

Great for beginners!!!!!
For the price these work great. I’m new to making my own cables and these made things a lot easier. The only thing that is hard sometimes is pushing the wires I. They get caught sometimes. But this could be technique. But love the product so far.

Great quality and value for the price.
These pass through connectors with strain relief boots offer a great quality and value for the price. Only used half a dozen so far but every single one I used works perfect. Used it with 5e cable though. Not sure about potential challenges with 6e cable. Technically speaking there should be none. The only thing I would like to mention is that a quality Pass Through Crimper is highly advised with these. The strain relief boot is adding a bit of additional stiffness to the connector on the edges which may make the tool to fail a clear cut for the first and eighth wire (WO & BR).The whole assembly is working perfectly though and provides a solid connector. Will buy more of these again.

Excelente
