Three Cross-Layer Bamboo Cutting Board Set - 3 Cross Bamboo Layers Over Lapped Makes A Strong Bamboo Wood Cutting Board - The Boards are Light Weight and Durable by Premium Bamboo

These were purchased to replace a similar two-board set made by CORE, which are two ply and had cracked. All I can say is that these are superior in every way to the CORE boards, they cost less, and for less cost, you also get a third small board that's nice for cheese, etc. The key is the three-ply construction, with the center ply grain running crosswise while the two surface plies have the grain running lengthwise. This should address the cracking issue in the CORE boards, as the two plies of the CORE boards both ran lengthwise - and no surprise, the CORE boards warped across their width, and a lengthwise crack developed. These three ply boards address both of these issues.The photos do not do justice to the quality and workmanship of these "Premium Bamboo" boards. In the photos, there is not much of a radius shown at the edges of the hand grip cut outs, and the circular grip cutout in the small board is almost square edge and even shows a chip - in fact I almost didn't buy them because the finish looked sketchy in the photos.However, the actual boards I received are beautiful, the handhole and finger hole cut outs are generously radiused, and each board is very smooth and nice to handle. They should have used mine for the photos! :-)We have a GE Monogram professional range top with a center griddle, and it comes with a beautiful 3/4" thick bamboo cutting board, custom-sized to use over the griddle. To replace that OEM cutting board through GE costs $126, so naturally we wanted to protect it with a more cost-effective "sacrificial" lightweight cutting board, and that was the main reason for this purchase - the other two boards are gravy for us. The large cutting board from this Premium Lifestyle set is a perfect fit over the GE Monogram board, matches it perfectly, and looks to be of the same top quality as the $126 OEM board, but thinner for easier handling. Very happy with this purchase.

Very nice set of cutting boards, I'm happy with my purchase. They seem well made and durable. They're obviously not super thick, so if that's what you're wanting I recommend checking for a different product (chopping block maybe?).I do a lot of home cooking so I've put these through the ringer in the few weeks I've had them. The large is a good size for most meals I cook (1-4 people), the medium is perfect for when I am just making dinner for myself, and the small is about the same. The small also doubles great as a cheese or serving board (it has roughly the same surface area as the medium board without the handle).

I like the set. It's well made and attractive. I was disappointed that it stained so easily. I used the set for a cheese tasting. With fruit and cheese on the boards. During clean up, I saw strawberry stains that didn't come off with hot, soapy water. They are there still. If you have advice on cleaning, what is or isn't appropriate use, please let me know.

I totally love this set. The cutting boards that were sent to me are noted to be natural, organic, eco-friendly, anti-microbial, and made from 100 % high quality recyclable moso bamboo. They come cutely packaged (tied together inside a thin film of plastic) and are ready for gift giving. Overall, the cutting boards served their purpose and so far, the attributes listed in the review are definitely spot on. They ARE easy to clean. I did NOT get any splinters, despite using different types of knives. Lastly, they are not overly bulky, with no sharp edges. The great thing is that you can purchase an even bigger board, if needed, or the utensil set, which I definitely want!

I had to edit my original review! I am very confused as to how these got such great reviews. After about 2 months they are already splitting apart. I have used each board no more than twice each and have hand washed with warm water and soap and they are just falling apart. When I first received them in the mail the corners on the largest board were chipped but I loved the way they looked and how light weight they were. After washing them once the fibers were coming off. The second time I noticed they were just peeling at the seams. I am pretty disappointed.

These are not my first bamboo cutting boardsPro's, Attractive, durable, good hot plate holder.Con's, During my first use, I noticed when rinsing off one of the cutting boards that there were these very fine bamboo fibers standing up all over the cutting surface, hard to see if not wet, not what I want in my foods, no hard cutting or abusive was used, the other two showed the same fibers when wet and were never used. None of my other old bamboo cutting boards even after years of use are show these signs of small fibers raising up from their surfaces.

First of all, super fast shipping. That's always a plus! These were packaged beautifully, perfect for gift giving. They look awesome sitting out on my counter. I use cutting boards often. I have used other bamboo cutting boards in the past. These are by far the best I've owned. They are at a great price. I have seen other bamboo boards just as nice sell for twice as much. They are light weight and very sleek. I used them immediately. I used them to cut up some veggies. The cutting board rinsed off easily which is a plus since they are not dishwasher safe. I look forward to getting years of enjoyment out of the cutting boards. I highly recommend these to anyone who likes to cook at home!

These are pretty good! I've had these for about a year and a half, I cook from scratch all the time so I use them almost every day, and they are still working for me. They do have some knife marks but they're nice and thick and have held up well. Much better and sturdier than the bamboo cutting boards I bought before!However, I forgot to oil them for a while and they started to smell like the vegetables I've cut on them, which was gross. Nobody likes a cutting board that smells like onions, but I think this is probably all wood/bamboo boards and more a result of my lack of care than any imaginable issue with their product.
