Quicksilver Black Diamond 3-Blade Aluminum Propeller - For Mercury and MerCruiser Engines

This is a good prop. I use it on my 2018 115 Mercury outboard.My motor came from the dealer with a Stainless Steel prop and if you hit a rock it might damage the lower unit gearbox because the SST prop is so unforgiving. This aluminum prop will break first and it is much much cheaper to replace than the gears in my lower unit. I did hit a rock with this prop and it nicked it pretty good but it did not disintegrate so I had a local prop repair shop touch it up and I am using it again. Just the protection I wanted.

Exact match to prop we removed, only issue noted is cavitation when first coming up on plane. This is the thitd prop I have replaced on this engine(90 hp Merc) first time had this cavitation issue. Once up on plane goes away but still an issue to consider.

This is a new to me pontoon with a 115 mercury on it. The current prop seen better days with chewed up edges. A quick look up by part number and this one popped up. Install was a breeze. It's not the best prop out there but it's for a pontoon so it will work absolutely fine. After a year of playing I may change size and pitch but for now ..im a happy boater with a new factory prop

The prop went right on and pulls my kids out of the water better than expected.

Replacement for 2004 25 EL Mercury 2 stroke. The new prop came with a hub installed that looked the same as original. My old prop was held on with a nylon nut and no locking washer. The new prop, just like the old, does not have the notches for a locking washer. Worked great for several lake trips, till the last one where I completely lost the prop.I reorder prop and a new nut. The nut I received is metal with nylon ring. Installed and hoping it stays this time.I wish there was a way to replace the hub assembly to accommodate a locking nut washer.

After trying two aftermarket props that didn't fit over the thrust washer, the factory brand fit like a glove. If you have a 2018 or newer Mercury 15 or 20hp outboard beware, it looks like the thrust washer profile changed slightly and the aftermarket props don't fit over it. I'm not knocking aftermarket props, I've had great luck with them, particularly Solas, they just don't seem to have made the change for the new motor design, but they indicate they will fit when you look them up.

I replaced my prop with the exact same prop that came off my Mariner 90. I had a chip in my old prop and felt vibration so I immediately changed it. I did order a new hub kit even though I could have used the old one but I wanted peace of mind. I did a little research and for my boat this prop is exactly what I needed. The price is very reasonable too. I like it!

My problems is that the propeller came with out the shaft insert, so I can not use it with out it.on the picture it's showing with the insert.waiting for respond.Halina

Delivered quickly. Looks like high quality replacement prop.Maybe better than the OEM prop. Way cheaper than actually getting my original repaired
