I use the light to illuminate display screens at events where I exhibit art work. They save me paying out for an expensive power-point and so quickly pay for themselves. They are bright enough to highlight the work and maintain a professional look to my stand. They save me time setting up and breaking down my stand and pack away easily, taking up very little space. A decent switch on the side prevents accidental switching on during transit. There is, however, no choice of colour temperature and just two brightness settings but that's okay for me. The battery life exceeds 6 hours on full brightness and they are easily recharged. I have 6 of these excellent lights and may yet buy a couple more.

Clever folding design fits easily in my instrument bag. Sliding on switch prevents accidental battery drainage.

Pros: Folds into a small neat unit, Gives enough light for two pages of A4, the low light setting is very usable too - depending on the stage lighting, Stong secure clip. Lightweight.Cons: It feels a bit cheap and plasicky - don't think it will break though. there are no 'shades' around the leds pointing the light down so it can be seen from audience - I don't thinks it's distracting though.Regarding charging and battery life. I can't make a full judgement. It wasn't fully run down when I first charged it but it charged pretty quickly (can't say precise time). It lasted a 1and a half hour show with no problems. It says it last 6 hours but I haven't used it again since to tell.

Fantastic build quality and construction. An excellent product

The Cahaya comes in a compact box size 5" x 3" x 2" (inches), and cleverly unfolds for practical use. However, it only has freedom of movement (adjustment) in one plane. Music is usually about 11 inches tall and clamping the music light on to a typical Clavinova music stand of about 5 inches height will severely interfere with the music on the stand and interfere with turning pages in a musical album. I found I had to place the Cahaya on top of a reasonably stable and solid box about 9 inches high placed behind the Yamaha Clavinova music stand, for the Cahaya music light to be of practical use.The Cahaya music stand light has proved its worth to me, as I found reading some scores which use chord symbols difficult to read correctly when those symbols were not printed in bold face.

Really great. You can adjust the light colour (temperature) from cold to warm white. Battery life seems to be really good from a full charge so no cables needed.
