Not strong
These magnets are not strong! They do not hold up and building 3D shapes is a joke. They instantly collapse! I bought knock-offs from a co-op that were half the price and much better quality. Very disappointed in these MagWorld tiles.

For adults too, but wish they had stronger magnets and a couple other issues.
s an adult I like puzzles to take my mind out of my hectic, professional life. I took up adult coloring and thought this might be a fun de-stresser too. It is pretty entertaining, but much larger and not as magnetic as I had hoped for. Also, I wish there were more puzzles to build from instructions. There are only 2 included and both are flat, not 3-D. I tried to make a few of the 3-D structures shown on the cover, but for the main photo on the box you would need to sets to complete it. I have a photo of my version of the photo on the box.The box did give me some ideas on structures to make and I even tried one of them and made it 4 boxes tall. It was challenging and my first couple tries it fell apart because the magnets are not very strong. I finally succeeded and have included a photo of what I made. It's pretty cool looking and very colorful! It's pretty fun for both kids (as other reviewers have mentioned) and adults too (from my experience). I am going to leave this at the beach rental house as I think it's a fun surprise for visitors and everyone can play along. To hold the pieces I wish they would have included a bag, but I've kept the box and there's a plastic holder, so that works okay too.One reviewer said these might be a swallow hazard for small children. I don't believe they would be as they're quite large. The smallest piece is 2 inches across.Price is rather spending in my opinion ($65 at the time of my review). I would expect at least twice as many pieces for this price. The box includes 42 pieces, that's about $1.50 per piece. For this price, I would have expected twice as many or more for $.50-$.70 per piece. The four larger pieces could have been omitted as I don't use them much. Here's what you get in the package, 42 total pieces:Squares (good for making stacking box structures), 16 total2 clear3 yellow2 orange3 red2 purple2 blue2 greenEven Sided Triangles (good for making pointed roofs and interesting shapes), 12 total2 yellow2 orange2 red2 purple2 blue2 greenRegular Triangles (good for roofs, wish there were more of these), 6 total1 yellow1 orange1 red1 purple1 blue1 greenPointed Triangles (great for steep roofs) 4 total1 yellow1 red1 blue1 greenRectangles (I don't use these much), 2 total1 orange1 greenUneven Rectangles (I don't use these much), 2 total1 red1 blueI marked down by 1 stars since I think it's overpriced and should have included more pieces, plus the magnets are not all that strong. I gave it 4 starts because this is fun entertainment and a great alternative to electronic gadgets and smartphone devices. Kids need more of this type of interactive gaming that requires creativity, analytical thinking, and building. I think it's great!

Fun for all ages (in our case 7 and 70)
My 7 year old granddaughter and I had fun with this set - she loved it. I do wish there were more pieces. I see there's a larger set available for only $5 more and I would recommend getting that. We were building houses and they had to be rather small. We tried to use all the pieces and it took some creativity on her part. She isn't usually into building toys so it remains to be seen if she will continue to play with this. I'll try and update my review in 6 months or so and let you know.

And I admit that it can be fun for adults too
I bought this for my 4 year old grandson and he has had a blast playing with it! My 2 year old grandson likes it as well. And I admit that it can be fun for adults too. It improves their building skills.

Pricey Pieces
The MagWorld Rainbow aims to get children involved early with Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Because the pieces are magnetized, children can build objects in 3D, as well as, leaving them flat on the table, in 2D. This set has 42 transparent pieces: (six colors) (16) small squares (12) equilateral triangles (6) right angle triangles (4) isosceles triangles (2) large rectangles (2) trapezoidsObserving the kids playing with the various pieces I quickly noticed some pieces were rarely used, while they ran out of the more popular shapes. The 2 large trapezoids and rectangles are of little use with the limited number of pieces in this particular set. I would've preferred they be left out entirely or add 10 smaller squares and triangles. They liked being able to stand the pieces up and build barns, space ships, etc. But the magnetic connection is not very strong. This resulted in frustration with the younger kids. My 5 year old granddaughter really liked the transparency. She enjoyed putting her tiny flashlights (and my flame free tea light candles) inside her creations. (So we bought her a set of the flame less tea lights just for this toy.) She still has the pet spa she built, on the table and lights it up at night. It's been a good night light. And she can change it and have a new one every day. This is an educational toy (she doesn't know that), with a lot possibilities. If you have more than one child I recommend getting a larger set. The big drawback is the price. $64 is quite expensive considering what's in the box. If the price is reduced I could recommend without hesitation.** At clean up, putting the pieces back into the correct section is yet another learning/affirming opportunity. We also wrote, in heavy marker, the number of pieces that should be in each section. This helps with counting and ensures we have all the pieces. Plus the box keeps everything neatly together.S.T.E.M encourages children to actively engage in a situation to find a solution.

My kids love these!
My kids love these! I got them for my 2 year old for Christmas. But my 9 year old also loves to play with them. They do not always stay exactly where you put them but my kids have a lot of fun. They do seem a bit overpriced for what they are but I got them on sale so it was ok for me. But I would not recommend paying full price for these.
