This book was the perfect mix between biography and business.. I felt she told this story beautifully and interweaved so many of her business learnings along the way. It made learning about business enjoyable! This is the first book in a long time.. that I have actually enjoyed and looked forward to reading. Really well done!

Fast service much appreciated

When I finished this book, I was alittle sad because I really enjoyed reading it. I didn't want it to finish. Barbara is pretty funny lady. Great and easy read. She fazed in and out of her years growing up with 9 brothers and sisters (Wow!). To be honest with you I wanted to learn about her real estate business so halfway through, I skipped her childhood stories. I agree with the other reviewer, she really didn't go into depth about her real estate business and how she actually did it. She did give the important basics of being successful in life which everyone should know if they want to succeed in any business. I hope Barbara comes out with another book about ins and outs in the real estate business. She did write enough that in my next chapter in life I would love to be a real estate agent. This is a great gift idea for any woman that wants more in life.

J'ai acheté ce livre car je regarde Barbara dans le célèbre show TV US : Shark tank.Je ne suis pas déçu. Elle nous explique sa vie et sa carrière professionnelle et surtout comment elle a réussi à créer un business important dans l'immobilier à New York.J'ai beaucoup aimé les quelques astuces simples (mais auxquelles n ne pense jamais) pour tirer le meilleur de son entreprise, de ses employés et de ses partenaires (ou mêmes concurrents).Bref, si vous aimez les livres sans concession et qui raconte la vie d'un entrepreneur à succès, foncez !

Was a good read. One of the rag to riches story which will make you laugh and think at the same time.
