To my knowledge, and in my opinion, his was a completely unique voice. All of his writings offer strenuous reading combined with great rewards. He wrote with a dispassionate precision that seems almost beyond human, yet also speaks to our deepest self. His writings say much, and often seem to imply or point to much more than is directly stated. This particular book uses its subject to (among other things) provide a cogent meditation on Guenon's distinction between the infinite and the indefinite. Like all the English translations of Guenon in this series, it is well worth having, reading, and rereading. Review: A most profound study, although slightly different in character than the rest of his works (as said in the Preface - a rather 'specialist' one).
