TekMatGun Cleaning Mat for use with Mauser K98

Tried using this to clean the gun on top of, does a WONDERFUL job at what it was designed for. I found I CAN'T use it for that it I want to be quick. I get distracted looking at the mat, but it's an awesome quick reference guide. So to get over staring at it so much admiring the printed weapon, I've turned it into a desk pad. it's about the size of the larger gaming mousepads, so it sits Beautifully on the desk and I can admire it just fine. Now since it's getting dirty I'll have to order another and try using it for it's intended purpose. Oh darn! I need 2 of these beautifully printed mats, what a shame. Hey, when the one on my desk wears out I'll replace with the one from my kit and they can keep changing out. No more mousepads needed. YES!

So I use it as a mouse pad, but the material is nice and can easily lend itself to a cleaning mat.

This mat not only gives a nice space to clean guns on but helped me complete a tear down and cleaning of my rifle. Relatively detailed diagrams shows where the parts go as well as a few paragraphs on the history and facts of the gun. Great price as well.

I take this to the range to clean my guns on the spot; also use it at home for more thorough cleanings and inspection. Good quality material, and the envy of others in my gun club.
