Archipelago Botanicals Stonehenge Glass Jar Candle, 8.6 oz

Been lighting Archipelago candles for a few decades. Stonehenge and Havana are perfect musk scents. Burn time outlasts other brands. They make wonderful gifts. Keep a few around home, however.

Review for Stonehendge - Man O Man! I've searched high and I’ve searched low and have been through many a candle. I consider myself a candle connoisseur, and typically shop locally. In my mind I have always imagined what the perfect intoxicating scent would be and to no avail all these years until now. THIS IS THE ONE! The scent is what Heaven must smell like if not surely close. It is a warm sensual unisex scent with a slight masculine lean. Warm slightly smoky, earthy, sweet orient with layers, some-what heady but not overpowering with a delicate powder finish. Upon lighting and inhaling, I Immediately felt the stress melt away. I was whisked into a relaxed state and meditative ascent. The scent is light but is definitely carries throughout the home and has a very calming effect. This will be my go to candle. It brings the sensation of conjured up memories but I just can’t seem to place it. A beautiful soul scent that feels primordial and intuitive. LIKE AN INSTANT SPA! Trying the Havana also (just placed my order can’t wait)

Ahhh, THIS is what I had been looking for in a candle! Over time I've been to spas and nice homes, and always wondered what candles do they use that smell sooo good?! This Christmas my 16 yr. old son asked for a "nice, yet masculine" candle to burn while he studies, hangs out, etc. in his room. (And no, he isn't trying to cover up another scent, just wanted to have the atmosphere.) So in my search for a "masculine" candle I repeatedly saw this brand, and this scent in particular, recommended. I decided to take a chance and order one for him, and another for my husband (who likes to meditate and sometimes burns a candle) and I am very pleased! The jar itself is solid, with a stable base and tight fitting lid. The candle is so fragrant but not overpoweringly so. The color is perfect for a guy - or anyone actually. It fits the decor in my home which is part Restoration Hardware/part Pottery Barn/part mixture of modern and antiques. I highly recommend this particular candle, and I have to believe the others in this line are just as wonderful so my next purchase will be for my daughter and my mother. Five stars - thanks Archipelago.

These are the best candles. You don’t even have to light them for them to freshen the room they are in. I’ll leave them on the counter for a couple of hours unlit and the freshen the room nicely.

Using it for the Hurricane Candle Warmer Lantern and the scent is wonderful! Slightly on the masculine side, which I enjoy because I don't want my apt smelling like flowers and what not, and my wife enjoys it as it reminds her of me somehow (her words, not mine). So we have found a perfect balance in our house for this candle. Highly recommend it, especially if you are using it for a candle warmer. The scent does fad over time, but we have been using this candle for several months now and let it simmer all day long and it still makes the apt smell refreshing when we come home. Very clean and not overpowering (IMO). Would recommend this one!

Nice fragrance, highly recommend

Purchased for my stepson for one of his xmas gifts. He is not a fan of color so this is nice it's black and the reviews on the scent were very good yet I found it to be, meh. I opened the bubble wrap to make sure the item wasn't broken in transit and took a smell and definitely not what I would have expected so if he doesn't like the scent he will have a nice looking candle for some place in his home to sit.

I am amazed at the craftsmanship in every Archipelago candle I’ve bought. The scent is so concentrated, it lasts and lasts. Right down to the last ¼ inch of wax. Then, I put that on my electric scent warmer and it still yields the fragrance and fills my home with high quality herbs and oils. I am a candle devotee and don’t mind paying more for a better candle. Archipelago also have the best customer service I’ve experienced in years from a retailer. This company doesn’t skimp on anything. If you want to make gift giving easier on yourself, here’s where you start. Anybody will be overjoyed when they light this candle up. Clean burning and long lasting, this is your money’s worth in a beautiful jar.

Great Scent. Pricey but worth it. I have this candle in my study and in the evenings when writing, I like to have it for mood and relaxation.

5 star candles! Exciting and lovely fragrances. These candles smell exactly as described, even after just a few minutes of burning. My favourites are Havana, Stonehenge and Grapefruit. Best scented candles I've come across..And really great value for money !

I thought that I would love this candle, the scent notes are all favourites of mine. But somehow the fragrance is somehow soapy and floral to me. Still a nice enough smell but not what I thought it would be at all. Good quality all the same and bigger than I thought it would be, just not the scent I expected. Reminds me of my opa’s cologne from when I was a child.
