BEWARE - YOU CANNOT RETURN THESE
I didn't pay attention and see that it says somewhere they're not returnable. My fault. They were way too small and painful for me. But, there's no way to contact the seller or anything so I'm stuck. Just beware, if they don't fit or you don't like them - you just wasted your money.

Imak #1, Dr. Arthritis #2
I like these pretty well. Very compressive and instantly the ache began to subside. I've not needed to take ibuprofen. A bit challenging to type in at first, but it can be done. Left glove feels tighter than the right one, and eventually I had to remove it as my index fingertip felt as if it were bulging, becoming worse with continued wear. The right glove became more comfortable with wear/use. Being right-handed, I expected the opposite, so this was a curious finding. Of note, I purposefully purchased a size small (my palm is 3.2, or size M probably) in an effort to seek the same tight compression I can get with carpal tunnel braces. For comparison, I also got Alaska Bear silk gloves as well as Doctor Arthritis copper gloves. The Alaska Bear, size XS is too big. Probably a fine lining type glove but in terms of offering compression, useless. I really like the Doctor Arthritis copper-type ones too but they're a little too big as well, even in size small. If they came in XS, they would be perfection in terms of grip, compression, warmth, and tactility. Unless I missed it somewhere, I couldn't find sizing help for Imak, so I guessed based on measurement guides available for the other gloves, and again, purposefully ordered down seeking strong compression. According to the Dr. Arthritis site, my glove size should be a M. I ordered S and its still just a bit big. The Alaska Bear company has a very detailed measuring guide to determine size and according to them, my size fell between XS and S, with XS still being too big. Thus, Imak are probably the best of the 3 in terms of addressing what i need them for; compression for my aching hands.

The size small was perfect compression and after six months they have no holes ...
I bought these gloves before around six months ago . The size small was perfect compression and after six months they have no holes or tears in it and although they are a little loose they still provide a nice compression. I lost one of the gloves so I bought another pair and they seem a lot tighter this time. My right hand was fine but my left hand was sore and in pain when I took the glove off. I believe I have carpal tunnel that is related to wrist and hand pain. So I give the gloves four stars because it helped me out in the past and it seems to be helping my right hand but it's a little too tight for the left. And since I have carpal tunnel I also wear wrist braces which makes these small gloves a little hard to wear under the braces, it provides too much compression and ends up being a little more tight than I wanted. So I switch between the old glove in the new gloves and take off the brace once in a while. I also have to sleep with the wrist braces on and I found that these gloves were way too tight to wear at night with them so I wear the old gloves or I don't wear them at all.

They're not really very small.
I use these at night, to keep me from sleeping with my fingers bent, because I have moderately advanced osteoarthritis in my hands. For reference, most of the time I buy a medium in things like gardening gloves. These are too stretchy to accomplish that - I took in some of the seams on my sewing machine to get a tight enough fit for my purposes. They are warm, and the nubs are good, if you're going to wear them for anything but sleeping, but if you're looking for a tight fit, these must be adjusted or they won't be.

Durable
I'm a cashier. Bought these for my early stage arthritis. Became a item of many blessings. Excellent for the arthritis. Great at keeping hands warm in freezing temperatures. The rubber dots on the palm ended up being a great tool for getting cheap grocery bags open, intended for active wear gripping. These are worth the money. Mine last about 3 month of cashiering 5 days 8 hours a day. That's impressive to me. Not as active....I could see these lasting a very long time.

like monkey hands
Well, I was hoping these would be of help. When I put them on, I was feeling mild compression, but in the wrong ways. The gloves made my hands lean in towards my palms, like monkey hands, and when I would flex my hands erect, that's the only time I would feel slight improvement. Keeping my hands erect all the time was not possible, so I gave up wearing them for a while. I had a thought, though, so I put the gloves on the opposite hands, which was an interesting feat, and to my surprise, now I feel compression !!! Having the grip dots, being on the backs of my hands, makes it a little less than helpful. Oh well. I'll just see if the gloves work any better now for their intended purpose.

These gloves have been the best purchase I've ever made
These gloves have been the best purchase I've ever made. I have ERS type three and have issues with my joints dislocating during any physical activity. My shoulders, my wrists, my neck, my ankles, but most of all my fingers. I've spent quite a bit of time putting my fingers back into place each day. These gloves have been a lifesaver!! No more dislocated fingers. It's been amazing and I highly recommend these to anyone with similar problems to mine. I love the grip on the palms that helps me to hold on the things. These gloves are fantastic!

Great for Lupus joint pain and Raynauds
I have Lupus which affects the joints in my hands, most of the time they are painful, stiff and weak. I also have Raynauds Phenomenom as a part of the Lupus, my hands get painfully cold even in the summer if I don't have my heating on at home which can be costly. A dear friend I met through a support group recommended these gloves to me after she bought a pair for herself and found them helpful. They came in great condition, though when I first put on the right glove a tiny part of the seam at the side of the hand palm area split, I don't entirely blame the manufacturer for this though, my hands were stiff when putting it on and i was using my left hand to pull the glove on which made it tricky to do, the gloves are quite tight (as they have to be for them to be effective), so the tightness coupled with my bad hand meant they weren't put on very gently. I later stitched the seam myself which was no trouble after wearing the gloves a while (the tiny split didn't affect the overall effectiveness of the product). The gloves are of great quality, the material is thick enough to do the job without being so thick that they alter daily activities, there are tiny rubber grips along the palm and underside of the fingers which are on very securely and are very useful. The material is soft and comfortable enough to wear all day. The fit is excellent, I have tiny hands and usually wear children's gloves in the winter as adult small sizes are always too big, so I was concerned that these would be too big or not tight enough to do the job. I was very happy to find that they fit perfectly.Performance wise they are excellent. My fingers and wrists are so painful that I require pain meds to even get out if bed in the morning as they are stiff and throbbing, I often can't do much with them as they are so weak that I struggle to open a tin of beans, I struggle to wash my face without them shaking from pain and cutting up food is a nightmare. Since wearing these gloves I can do a lot more and go for longer with less pain, they don't get rid of the pain completely (though I never expected that, they're gloves not a miracle cure haha) but they hold it at bay long enough for me to perform some tasks longer or more effectively. They don't affect the weakness in my hands at all, but the grips on the gloves provide a helping hand in that area, I can open bottles easier, grip the cutlery so I don't need to hold so tightly with my hands etc. the Raynauds I suffer means that often I will have the fire on at home to stop my hands getting painfully cold, this often results in my body getting so warm I have headaches, so I'll turn off the fire and then my hands get freezing and painful though in general I'm still hot, this results in a lot of up and down to turn the fire off and on. It also means that my gas bill is often quite high. These gloves have really helped to keep my hands warmer, I'll turn on the fire in the morning and put these gloves on, when they've warned up I can turn the fire off and leave it off for a few hours now before my hands cool down again. Though if my hands are already painfully cold these gloves alone will not get rid of the pain, though they will help speed up the warning process.Overall I would recommend anybody with joint pain and/or raynauds to buy these gloves, they truly are amazing. I've had them only a few days now and I can honestly say that I don't know how I've managed so long without them!!

God send! 5 stars
My mum has arthritis in her hands and these seem to relieve her pain and swelling really well. I have bought her a few of these over the years and they seem to last for a long time. She washes them and they still keep their shape. They fit really snug so make sure you get the right size for them to be most effective. I would highly recommend these to anyone.
