If you're looking for a hand mixer then look no further than this one! This is a great piece of kit and great looking too. The beaters are nice and thick, not thin like some - they remind me of the old trusty ones of yesteryear and great that they can be stored in a handy container that the mixer itself sits on top of - if your anything like me, you may have a drawer with a few old beaters in from previous machines, I really don't know why, but I have since chucked them because these ones are the only ones I'll need! I find this machine to be the perfect weight to hold, not too heavy and very comfortable (although of course, this would vary from person to person depending on their circumstances) but if it helps, I have rheumatoid arthritis which affects my hands and it suits me just fine. It's not overly noisy either, nowhere near as noisy as previous machines. All speeds work and I love the heat function which blows out hot air to help with it's intended purpose which is to soften butter. There is even a filter too at it's base and an attached rubber cord tidy - I haven't quite mastered that yet but it'll come with practice I'm sure! The copper coloured guard on the front is magnetic so no fiddling around trying to take it off and put it back on again. I think it would be safe to say that all components (except the mixer itself of course) is dishwasher safe although personally, I would handwash the front copper guard for fear of it peeling as it's only plastic, but sturdy plastic I might add. The machine itself can stand on it's rear when needing a free hand to add ingredients etc so no messy counter tops from the soiled beaters. Apart from an old style trusty hand mixer my parents gave me many years ago, this is the next best thing in terms of quality & stability - I have only had this a little while but I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that this mixer looks to last for many years to come, I would be shocked if it didn't. This machine costs that little bit more but trust me, it is worth every penny and yes, I would highly recommend it. Almost forgot to say too, that this arrived in it's own Breville box with no needless extra amazon packaging, great for the environment and less to have to deal with, that gets a huge thumbs up from me!

Bought this a few months ago and only just took it out to use and to our disappointment it doesn't have an Australian plug or adapter!So as it is, it is useless!

i bought this mostly for creaming butter and sugar and it really works well - the heating element helps soften the butter much quicker and i love the storage case, its very useful and compact. Highly recommend for jobs where you dont want to use a stand mixer!

This is my first full sized handmixer so I my not have as much insight as others but overall I am very happy! It's easy to use and set up, plus dishwasherable! Very happy with the way it all cleans up as well! It will be much easier to store than what I was hoping for! It's got a good weight to it, not overly heavy but you know it's there so that's a plus for me. The heating element is very useful as I have a small kitchen and am not able to leave butter on the side. I decided to test out the capability of it by making brioche and so far, it is excellent! It's loud but not unexpected for a hand mixer. The only "downside" is the design of the handle. I wish a bit of silicon was used so I'd have better grip on it. I found myself swapping hands frequently in order the wrangle it! Also, nothing to do with amazon themselves but with the internal packaging but when I opened and inspected, I found the whisk part bent out of shape. Easy fix but a negative none the less.Overall, I am very happy with the mixer, I've been saving for a while to get something a bit more heavy duty and it works brilliantly!

The hand mixer is quite basic but I really like using it, it is quite sufficient for my needs. It has enough power for everyday use. A big plus is the storage container and replaceable tips. I also really like the price. The equipment looks solid, although it is not the quietest. But for the price and performance it is a really great device.
