This kit allows Bluetooth music streaming from Android or Apple devices through select 1998+ Toyota factory radios. Your radio must be capable of controlling a remote (separate from radio) CD player. -- This device connects to the factory plug on the back of the radio using the included Toyota-specific cable. Your radio plug is normally reserved for a remote CD changer, etc. This kit terminates in a mini Bluetooth streaming audio receiver. (Appearance may vary slightly from picture.) There are additional connections in between to allow the device to be more versatile and permit you to replace a single component should you have a problem down the road or need to move it to another vehicle, rather than buying a new kit. -- Just make all the connections (they are obvious and unique), pair your device to the Bluetooth receiver, hit the AUX button on your radio and you're ready! -- What makes it an ultimate Bluetooth interface? Unlike our standard Bluetooth interface, this Bluetooth receiver gets it's power from your radio. You do not need to charge it between uses. Please note that you may have to adjust the volume on your phone/device initially to match your radio output. Unlike our premium interface, a remote control for skipping back and forth between songs is included. It can be mounted on the steering wheel, turn signal stalk, emergency brake handle, etc. It connects to your Bluetooth phone/device as a keyboard and allows you to perform basic music control functions wirelessly so you can play your music hands-free! -- Also included is a set of dash trim removal tools. Don't tear up your dash with make-shift tools or metal pry-bars. Use the same style of tool the pros do.
