Purchased and fitted in March 2018. It’s quite sturdy, and has (so far) withstood both extreme cold and blistering heat, in an exposed location with no signs of rust, cracking, or leakage.Extra keys were easy to obtain from my local cobbler - convenient, but perhaps that shows it’s not the most secure object out there, but it does the job. I’m happy with it.Update (Feb 2020) - nearly 2 years, and well into the second winter. No rust, no warping, and lock still works perfectly, in fact give it a quick wipe, and you can’t tell how old it is - it still looks brand new. Definitely worth the money.Final update (May 2020): sadly due to replacing our main gate, we can no longer use this box - we’ve had to replace it with a different design. I carefully removed it, gathered up all the keys, and gave it to a friend, who said, “But it’s brand new! Are you sure you don’t want anything for it?” 😄

After seeing reviews for similar products that were flimsy or not very secure, I gave this one a shot.While it is made of thin sheet steel, the design of the flap and the door are such that they close well and are as sturdy as you could expect at this price point. No complaints from me on this.The lock works fine but isn't the best quality, again to be expected for the price. A wee drop of WD40 after six months made it a lot smoother to operate.Weather protection seems good, this is on a house in Glasgow, possibly the only tougher test would come on the western or northern isles...Flap design stops sticky fingers attempting to yoink your junk mail and will accept an A4 magazine.If someone ripped this off my house, I'd buy another one.

Wow, this is amazing value for money, such good quality and unbelievably cheap! It was no issue to fix to the external wall and I've taken my first delivery of post including a jiffy bag today and it works a dream. Looks so much nicer and better quality than many other post boxes I looked at and has a good capacity easily being able to take A4 letters. It's also pretty difficult to reach into it, so I know my post is secure. All in all I am very happy with the purchase.

We purchased this postbox in order to try to keep heat in the house by blocking off our traditional, draughty, letterbox slot.The postbox is well made, quite light-weight metal, with a very good paint finish.It's not made in Germany, as the brand name and adverts suggest, but is made in the PRC; as stated on the packaging.A bit fiddly to install, as you need to line up 4 x drill holes, and small rubber grommets, and 4 x screws; and get the whole thing level. . . !It's quite narrow, part of the reason we bought it was that it didn't stick out too far from the wall. The downside of this is that stiffer A4-sized items will need to be carefully bent a bit in order for them to drop down safely. In fairness, the postbox is only designed to take C4 size envelopes, so if you need to take regular A4 deliveries, you need to get a box deeper than the 112mm this one offers. Luckily our postie is great and considerate! :-)But if you get the Smol dishwasher tablet monthly delivery, they do not "bend" and end up sticking out the letter flap. . . !The small keys supplied are a bit stiff in the lock, and the postbox is not really designed as a "secure" postbox, more for monitored domestic use.All in all, so far; it's weather-resistant, looks good installed, and seems easier to receive post than our traditional letter flap and "draught proof" brushes, with fewer slightly crumpled envelopes arriving. It has made a noticeable difference in keeping our hall warmer, and therefore our house warmer, which is a real plus point.

Ordered via Amazon website seamlessly.This item was lost during transit once and then lost again (!). On the third attempt, it was delivered on time.The package was intact and the post box itself was undamaged.Amazon customer support were professional and understanding and I would recommend them for any queries or problems you encounter.The post box was easy to install and came with everything you need. The screws themselves weren't too great, so I switched them out for screws I already had. This was minor in the grand scheme of things.The post box's colour is as advertised and looks sleek.It comes with two keys. The key entry system works well.** One month review **The post box is still working well. It has not developed any rust or become damaged through use.I would recommend this product to my friends and family.I would purchase another one if this one ever became damaged.

Very happy with this letterbox, I did a lot of research before I settled on this and felt value for quality wise it was a good bet for our porch. I haven't been disappointed and we've been using this for about 18 months now with no issues.It is a good size and fits in large envelopes, magazines etc no problems; and has a good storage capacity if you are away for a few days. The key lock mechanism is easy to use and there have been no signs of weather damage, however it's important to say that this is used in a covered porch so doesn't come in contact with persistent heavy rain.We found this easy to install too. Overall good value for an decent letterbox which looks well an isnt an eyesore in our porch.

The actual box is very sturdy. And the screws are decent. But the wall plugs are flimsy and cracked and bent when tapping into the holes I drilled. And here I was feeling happy that I didn't need to use my own plugs as the screws and plugs came with the box. I was disappointed. Managed to get them back out again, so ended up using my own anyway! But once I used my own it all went together well. Only other downside is that the two top holes are half an inch too high. Which makes drilling in the screws a bit difficult as the bottom of the letter opening is in the way. Bit of perseverance and it went up and is now hanging nicely on the wall outside my front door.

Orderd this on Monday night. Was delevired the next day. On time. Put up today. Great quality no hassle in fitting it. Great product. All I need is newspaper box to match. Lovely product for the price.
