On-QPW1060 24 Volt Power Supply 24 Volt, 2.5 Amp

We ordered two of these power supply packs to get our all-house speaker system to work in the new house we moved into. We kept hearing a buzzing/humming sound in the speakers and couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Finally just now figured out that the buzzing stopped when these packs were unplugged. Ordered from another supplier and now there is no buzzing. Extremely disappointed that the return window has closed on these packs, as we're now stuck with over $200 of useless power packs. Would very much appreciate your considering allowing a return at this point -- it's not like they have been misused in any way. Thank you for your help.

This product worked immediately when I did the replacement. So at first I was very happy about it. However, it has a very high-pitched noise that is audible in the living area in the house. It took a little while to realize that the sound was coming from the brand new power adapter. The noise can be very annoying when you are thinking about it. I am honestly quite disappointed that the quality isn't better after spending > $100 for a power adapter. The original did not have this problem.

On-Q basically has you hostage and therefore charges $100 for a $20 power brick. I love my audio system and when I expanded, I needed the extra brick. While I could have build or modified one for less, I didn't want to do anything that would possibly damage the system.

Works great. Got me back up and running for $100. I would be a lot happier if it was about half that price. 1 star off for too high price. But it did get me fixed up and working. Thanks

Completely agree with other (2) posters. But AZ had best price and free shipping on this power supply. So far it has fixed the problem of getting house sound working after a power failure, which we unfortunately have too many. Old power supply had to be coaxed and cajoled back into service, and became increasingly difficult to do. This new one is much more dependable.
