PlayMG Mobile Android Entertainment System Bundle with Charger - 24GB Storage

Bought this item for my son for Christmas. For the first couple of months the PlayMG worked fairly well although there were quite a few apps that would not install and gave the message "app will not work with your version of Android". At the end of February, the screen suddenly stopped working. I could tell there was activity because there were vertical lines that changed colors. I reset the device numerous time with the same result.I contacted customer support and they were initially very responsive. They said they would replace it and gave me return information and i sent it back on March 6th. And that was the last time I heard from them. I have sent numerous follow up emails and have posted through the support forum but I get no response.Overall concept of the product is a good one but I cannot recommend this product or the company that supports it.

I purchased this item after reading other reviews. My son needed a new MP3 player and he doesn't have a smart phone either so I thought this would be a good Christmas gift for him. It worked fine for less than 24 hours and it was given to a 17-year-old who knows how to treat electronics properly/with respect. When it froze up, the only way to turn it off was to let the batter run dead... this happened numerous times so we decided to return it for a refund. Good idea, but this product stinks.

My 13 yr old son absolutely loved this device. He took it everywhere with him and was the best alternative to a cell phone. You can send text messages, download apps, and instant message anyone as long as you have a wifi connection. This is a great entertainment gift for those of you who are not ready to gift cell phones, but need a way for your tweens or teens to keep in contact with you and their friends without taking up too much time.

We have tried everything with this game system. It is connected to our Wifi but it still will not connect to any games. And the battery life on this is horrible. Even just sitting there not being played the battery only lasts an hour, tops. Very disappointed.

I'm sure my Grandson will love this, it is exactly what he wanted, but has not been able to come and open it yet.

Terrible. Did not work from very first. Would not charge, if after many reboots it did charge the battery would drain even if it was off. And if you could finally get it to work it would freeze. It was returned!

Have not been able to get it to work.
