Save hundreds of dollars by doing it yourself.
If you’re into DIY repairs this is one simple task. Of course you gotta have some technical skills but it’s very doable. I repaired the digital display on my jet ski that was sunburned and couldn’t read anything on it. It turned out great. Next time I’ll do a video.

Simple cheap repair
Used on 2013 VW Bettle stereo display. The factory polarized film baked off and fell apart. Cut this to fit and works great.

Not fully matched in cancelling light, but good enough for photographers and others it seems.
Not full polarization, but still useful for my purposes. I don't think these are accurately made enough to work on a screen. They also allow about 10% of the light through when perpendicular. This means they won't work for the classic blackout experiment. They would still likely be useful for photography and lighting. You may want to look for something more expensive if you want impressive performance.

Transform any light
Polarized film sheets like these are perfect for custom fitting lights with unique sizes. Cut to size and use some double sided tape to make any light perfect for anti-glare scenarios. I shoot in environments with a lot of harsh light that casts glares in my subjects - but don’t always want a big light for the matter either (see photos) I’ve attached to these to bigger lights too to get the extra boost to turn a budget light into a game changer. Pairing a light with a polarized film with a polarized lens filter (either on your phone or camera) and you’ll be no match for a glare.

Why sticky doe?
Okay yeah it do what it say it do. It will in fact polarize light based on its orientation Comes with protective film on it though. On both sides. This film ruins the polarizing effect, so it must be removed. And one side has adhesive, so you now get a film that you must adhere immeaditly, or it will collect particles that ruin the optical quality. Its fine I suppose. The glue is a major bummer.

Worked great on old Tamagotchi
Had an old Tamagotchi with a weak screen and this worked great. Before placing it on there you have to remove the old filter and turn this around at various angles to find where it looks best. Take some 99% isopropyl alcohol and clean the screen and then apply this. Be careful when applying as to avoid air bubbles, dust, and lint. Don't forget there are two protective covers that must be removed from this. You get two sheets and if you're doing some old small toys this will be plenty.

Picture is misleading
I tried to perpendicular these two pieces, you will be able to see through. I tried all angles, no luck. I don't know what to expect for a polarized sheet, this is the only feature you expect from it, polarize the light direction, so at a 90 degree angle they will block all light. For this, I give it 1 star. It still demonstrate the polarization somehow, so if you don't need a strict high quality polarization sheet, this can serve, but in an incomplete manner.
