camera is great but can somone let me know how to set the time and date as i have lost the book that came with itregardsIan

So for the money I've had much better cameras. Bought this one for my cycling helmet as its compact.Poor build quality and not a crisp picture. Videos keep freezing on both the PC and phone once transferred. Biggest issue I have is you can't read the SD card direct from the camera with the USB cable connected.

I’m really pleased with this! I’ve read other reviews and surprised to see the complaints - it’s dirt cheap! So what do people expect?! It’s extremely easy to use - insert the memory card (mine came with a micro SD card although I didn’t realise it was inside the padded envelope so I ordered one and went to throw the packaging away and found the card inside it). Use the button with the circle - hold it down until the lights come on, and off you go! If you need to you can also press the light button too, just a light press turns it on, and the same to turn off. When you’re done with the camera - just hold down the button with the circle for a second or two and the lights will go off. I bought a dongle that has USB and also a side for my IPhone/an android/SD slot and micro SD slot so I can view the footage on my phone directly or plug into my laptop. The picture quality is great! The sound is great - it picks up on my terrible singing as I walk my dogs a little too well! When I view the footage I’ve found it records consistently but breaks the video down into 3 minute clips which is really helpful when trying to find a particular moment during your recording. Like today my dog ended up with a bee on her and I wanted to show my Dad the size of it, so I could watch a clip and work out if the bee incident came earlier or later without having to skip through the whole walk. The only thing I can’t figure out how to do is set the time and date - it currently shows a random date in 2017 and the time isn’t correct. I believe from watching a YouTube video you need to insert the micro SD card for the first time and it’ll create a file that you adjust the text on to adjust the time, but I’ve not figured out how to do - if I do, I’ll update this. Also, with not having a display screen you can’t view what the battery reserve is like - although I assumed that would be the case when I purchased it as it was so cheap and clearly didn’t have a screen - I just charge it every 4/5 days as I wear it for at least an hour a day. Overall I’m chuffed! Bought it to wear whilst walking my little dogs because we’ve had so many incidents with dogs off lead - the last time one of my tiny dogs, a Chorkie was attacked by an off lead Alsatian and left hurt in the Emergency Vet so I wanted footage to prove what happened if it happens again. Really cheap, good quality video & sound - it records on a loop, so newer clips write over older ones so you don’t have to constantly clear the memory card - it’s just really easy to use.
