Lord Buddha Red Sandalwood & Herbs Incense Sticks

Reminds me of a wonderful vacation where this incense was burning around the campfire.

Really good consistent fresh incense.

This is traditional Tibetan incense. i got this in a 5-pack sampler set and it quickly became my favorite. More mellow and nuanced than Indian incense or regular sandalwood sticks. Note that these sticks are thicker than Indian, so you will need a censer with larger holes to accommodate. You could pay more for monastery-grade incense. But why would you want to?

First, I appreciate the craftsmanship that obviously went into this incense. It is handmade and all-natural. However, the burn aroma was, simply put, more reminiscent of an ashtray or the smoke-smell in your clothing after standing outside near a campfire than it was of sandalwood. It was not fresh and outdoorsy like cedarwood, but more just an essence of smoke. It was not for me at all.

My friends bought me this on birthday. I love it!
