I read in one of the reviews here on Amazon that the spots that are painted on this backpack look like mold. Well, they don't. While you should know that there is no gold or shimmering paint or application on this backpack, the overall look of it is esthetically very pleasing. In fact, I think that any kind of shimmering application on this backpack would cheapen the look and possibly wouldn't be appreciated by girls who are trying to look cool and not too cutesy). I got it for a 6th grade child, and she loves it, and I think it looks really pretty on her. It also seems to be made well. The fabric that it was made from is thick and strong. It has enough pockets inside. I really think it was a great purchase. My daughter says she thinks it is her favorite backpack so far (and every year I try to get her a really cool backpack so this one really fit the bill).

Got this for my 7 year old because her backpack and lunch bag were starting to fall apart. I spent about an hour searching for the right one, reading reviews and all that, I find it hard to trust reviews sometimes. But I Finally took a chance on this backpack/lunch bag bundle, so glad I did. My daughter loved it! The material is very great quality, the straps feel nice and comfy. Lunch bag is perfect as well. Buy this, you will not regret it! I never ever write reviews but felt like I had to on this one, that's how much I loved it!

I bought it for my 7 year old niece and she loves the look and feel of it. She also likes the lunch bag and pencil case that are included. She hasn't used it as yet, but from all initial observance it seems durable. I will see how it holds up when school starts in September.

Good even with the loose stitches. The rest of the bag was fine, just loose stitches along the top/zipper. I was able to add a support stitch, but if you do not have a sewing machine beware you may need to exchange or return.

My daughter loves this backpack. It doesn’t hold as much as we would have liked, but it gets the job done. She loves the matching lunch bag and pencil case. Overall happy with the purchase although with her school Chromebook in it, it doesn’t hold as much as we hoped it would.
