This bag sealer is pretty strong right off the box. It doesn’t heat up when the machine is plugged into the outlet which is excellent for safety protection in case you have children nearby. When you push down it automatically heats up and ready to use. The knob displays the level of heat you can use. I tested out wrapping plastic on a video game at level 2 but it doesn’t seal properly. Each push down only last 1 second but is not guarantee to be sealed completely. I suggest 2-3 pull downs and it should it good. You can feel heat at the seams of the wrapper but isn’t hot enough to burn your fingers. Overall, this can come in handy if you need to store things away in bulk.

Update on review:Increasing to 3 stars because of the quick response/resolution from the seller to my inquiry, but I still need to further test the product. After contacting the seller, I was told that "It might be an omission from the manufacturer" and that they don't have replacement kits at the moment. I was offered: a partial refund of $5 for the missing kit OR to contact Amazon directly to return the whole set for a replacement (which would probably come with only 1 replacement kit as this is not the first case of a missing replacement kit.)Original review:The item description says it comes with 2 replacement kits "SibyTech 8-inch Impulse Bag Sealer, Manual Heat Sealer Machine for Plastic Bags,2 Replacement Kit Included, Blue" but it only came with one. I will update review when/if the replacement kit is received. Other than the missing part, the sealer worked fine on a test bag; it takes a little trial and error to find the right temperature setting.

I bought this on "prime day" and was quite excited to shrink wrap my products (soaps, bath bombs, etc.). I read the reviews stating that some didn't work out of box, but it was an easy fix. Indeed, the machine did come with a thorough diagram of the circuitry. When my broken machine arrived I had fun the first time I fixed it. Since then I haven't enjoyed fixing it whenever I want to use it. Because I do have to fix it... Any time I want to use it... Since my return window was well past, I wrote the company to ask if this was their intention- that we should have to disassemble and reassemble to use the machine. This was their response:"Thank you for your purchase and message.sorry for the inconvenience.You can use it by referring to the manual, thank you!Best regards"So I've got one with better reviews on order, and I may hand this one over to my husband or boys to tinker with when they have a hankering to tinker. But I really wish I'd gone with a different one for my first impulse sealer.

Great sealer! Very good quality. It came well packaged, the color is light blue, it heats fast when plug in, and it's big enough to seal a variety of size bags. It comes with instructions and its very easy to use, I'm using for my small company to pack dry corn and seal the bags, so far it has work wonders. I have tried those small sealer that they sell here and they don't ever seal right, these are better!

So far so good. It works and it's easy to use.

Love my sealer. I use this to seal my balloons and it gives me no problem. Love how I can also use it to seal my treat bags and how it’s not hot when plugged as a safety but as you use it if that make any sense.
