Quick Charge 2.0 Runshion Dual-Port Car Charger with LED lights for LG G5, Samsung Galaxy S7/S6/Edge, Nexus 6P/5X, iPhone | Qualcomm Certified-Silver

After I posted the review below, I was contacted by the seller who offered to send me a replacement. I'm happy to say that the replacement seems to work as expected, and doesn't seem to have the intermittent issue that the original one did, so I assume that the original was just defective. The only remaining issue is that the springs don't tend to hold it in very tightly, so that in my Miata it tends to bounce out and not stay connected. That's a common problem - lots of them have the same issue, but fixing that would improve this otherwise decent charger.Original review: This is a really nice looking charger but it just isn't reliable. Sometimes when I plug the phone in, it doesn't charge, sometimes it does. It isn't the phone or cable, when I switch chargers all is fine. Sometimes when it starts out not charging, it will start after 10 or 15 minutes. Bottom line, I can't depend on it, so it's of no use to me. At least it wasn't too expensive so I won't feel too bad about discarding it.

It stopped working after 2 days. It heats up and heats up the cable also . Weird never had something like this happen before. Maybe I got a defective one?Update 11-1-16:Runshion sent me another charger without informing me, i guess they read my review. The new one i recieved works excellent! it does not heat up and charges really fast! My moto x Pure edition reads it as a turbo charger and charges incredibly fast. I waited for a month of use before posting just in case but so far so good! Kudos to runshion for standing by their product and sending me another one. I wouldve liked to been informed of them sending me another but either way glad they stood up! recommend it especially if you have a MOTO x pure edition!

I bought this alongwith aukey 2.0 quickcharge. The charging speed in this car charger is at 50% rate for galaxy S7. Not sure if I have a faulty unit.

Charges my devices 100% of the time, but seems to only quick charge, 95% of the time.

Oh come on, did you really think you could get a genuine Turbocharger for less than 7 bucks. Well you can't. This does NOT rapid charge my Moto X Pure. If it did, my phone would say "rapid charging" and it doesn't. If your phone dies from an exhausted battery while you're driving in your car and you're hoping to get it back online in 5 minutes or less - that ain't gonna happen. Maybe 2o minutes later you can get back up and running.
