Great little rubber bands that my toddler can’t open on her own!!! They are just little bands so some of them do break. If you know what to expect going in you won’t be disappointed on these

Cute but break too often
I like the tin, but the elastics aren't as good of quality as my usual brand (Goody has transparent sparkly ones that are the best). These snap when I'm trying to get them in my girls' hair, probably 1 out of 5 times. Not bad odds unless you are used to the goody ones which never break.

Travels well, perfect container and affordable
Brought these with me on a two week trip in Greece where we moved locations nearly daily. This was really clutch because it's a small but secure container and holds plenty of these guys. The elastics themselves are durable (stay in all day, overnight and can actually be reused). I've been using a lot of them since I've returned and not once have I had one break or even fall out. Terrific buy.

Great for braids
Good for tying off the ends of braids, especially if I'm going to tuck them into a bun or something. So far I've only used the brownish-toned ones and those have blended into my hair well. It's hard to find ones that aren't clear or black. The little case was a bonus! I don't think these would work well for a full pony tail, so I wouldn't recommend them if that's what you want.

31/2 stars. The container these come in very handy and they certainly give you lot for the money. I do find that these break easier than the clear kind when I use them. In my daughter's hair they do not break, but are harder to get out than the clear version (different brand). I don't think I will repurchase but I don't regret this purchase. Hope that helps!

No better than Goody
If you're looking for a replacement for the poor Goody brand elastics, this is not a good choice. The bands snapped after just 30 minutes in my daughter's hair. They work if you double up on them, but are a one-time use only product.

These are only good for one use on my medium thick hair
These are only good for one use on my medium thick hair, but the container is very useful and easily accessible when I'm working fairly elaborate braid styles in my own hair.
