Well Made Top and Bottom Mountings are THICK not cheaply made like other top brand names. They use Grade 8 mounting plates and double nuts.

Gave me a way better ride than the stock shocks & much stiffer, no bottoming out. My 2006 Silverado Crew Cab with a 2-4" drop ride like a dream!!

I own a 2015 Ram 1500 2wd pickup that I put a Belltech 2/4 lowering kit on not long after I bought the truck.Fast forward 3 years and 40k miles and the OEM shocks needed replacement.If you are installing a lowering kit, NOW is the time to install the front shocks if you are planning on replacing them !!The dust shields on these shocks DO NOT FIT THRU THE HOLES IN THE ALUMINUM LOWER CONTROL ARMS.I installed the shocks at home in the driveway, but had to remove the wheels, the brake calipers, disconnect the sway bar end links, separate the spindles from the upper ball joints, tip the top of the spring out, drop the dust shield into the top of the spring and then put everything back together again. With cordless impacts and ratchets, it took about 3 hours to do a job that if the dust shields fit thru the lower control arms would have taken about 20 minutes for both sides.The truck rides great and handles better than new, but what a PITA to install these after the fact.

Bought an 09 Ram that was dropped and bottoming out on the smallest bumps. I took it to the shop and they told me the shocks were no good. They offered some Ranchos for $250 each but I couldn't afford it. Bought these online and installed them myself. Only problem is these are the exact same shocks that were on in 1st place! Oh well. It rides good now but time will tell if they are worth 5 stars.

Purchased theses (just the front) with Belltech 5106 and 5107 for my 95 Buick Roadmaster wagon with 98,000 miles. I am still using the factory rear air shocks.The ride feels good, not as cushy as the OEM shocks, but still rides pretty decent on the rough roads of Baltimore.

The shocks came ready to install, my last set from pro comp had to have the sleeve and bushing installed. Dont know how they ride yet but I hope they last longer than 6 months.

Happy with the product. Trusted brand that is definitely an improvement over stock. Doesn't completely ride like a breeze and that's expected with a lowered truck, but better than leaving your lowered setup with OEM shock. Price is fair and is reasonable choice if you're not going with an airbag suspension. Can't go wrong with Belltech.

If you want a perfect shock for your lowered silverado this is the shock to buy. I have ran these twice on two different vehicles. My truck is a 2006 1500 Silverado lowered 4" in the front. These shocks are the best bang for the buck and will compliment the handling of your vehicle.I would pass these on to anyone. Great deal and great Price
