Temperature control options to avoid heat damage
Good quality hot comb for anyone that wants to control temperature to reduce heat damage. This has 4 or 5 heat levels with the max as 450. There’s no guessing what level heat you’re at. I used it at 365 for my 4A/4B hair. I wasn’t going for a hard press, maybe would’ve used 400 for that. Went through my hair smoothly and had a scalp guard which I should’ve used because I burned myself (operator mistake) the scold protector worked once I put it on. Hair didn’t smoke and was smooth after use. Happy I choose this opposed to others that leave you guessing on the heat you’re putting in your hair.

Better than scissors for a tired wig…
I used this heat comb on a tired synthetic wig with paintbrush ends and it worked great to smooth the frizz and revitalize the fibers. I used the lowest heat setting along with a few products on Heidi by Jon Renau, which is a wavy style, but not heat resistant, so I had to be extra careful not to melt the fibers. I worked in sections starting with the tangled nape first and gradually worked my way up. Before sliding the comb over the fibers, I first sprayed a small section with Jon Renau’s Heat Treat thermal spray — without it, the fibers melted — and then while the hair was still slightly warm, I wrapped it with a flexible hair foam roller to reinstate the wave. I will leave the rollers overnight, but you could skip this step if you want a sleek straight style. For the super tangled bits, I recommend brushing it out slowly, spraying with the thermal spray, smoothing with the heat comb and then finishing it up with a silicone serum fiber massage. :)

Not the best
This hot comb doesn’t get really hot and the placement of the button keeps turning off while in use. It’s lightweight, cheaply made. I wouldn’t recommend.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ customer service
Absolutely amazing customer service! It's been 4 years since using my comb and it still works perfectly. The guard on my comb snapped though and they sent me a replacement for it right away! So appreciative of this and my favorite hair took.
