I have been using these filters for a few years now. They work great for my well water. My well has a lot of sediment that in it and these filters really improve the clarity and smell of my water. They fit my filter housing perfectly. I have to change them about once a month but all filters I have tried had to be changed that often due to the sediment in my water.

I HAVE BEEN USING THESE FOR YEARS FOR MY WELL WATER, WHICH HAS IRON OXCIDE, THESE FILTERS DO A GOOD JOB OF REMOVING IT AT THE KITCHEN SINK, ONE FOR HOT ONE FOR COLD.. I SHALL CONTINUE TO BUY THESE 1 MICRON FILTERS.

Purchased July 2017. Writing Review October 2017. Just bought a house on a well that had been dormant for 1-2 years. Brand new filter was totally full of crap in less than a month. Decided to change filters once a week until the sediment cleared. These filters on Amazon were the only ones I could find that I could buy in bulk and also not break the bank. The filters are NOT UNIFORM SIZE, all of them are taller than the more expensive filters, but by millimeters and most would still fit in my house filter case, even if it was a bit tight. But now that I'm about halfway through the pack I bought, they're EVEN TALLER and I have had to (as another reviewer stated) cut the filters down to size with a knife just to be able to close my filter casing without it leaking everywhere once the water's turned on. If you're going to be frequently changing filters, I guess I would buy these again because no other filters are this cheap and well... They DO actually filter sediment... So I can't complain too much. But there is most definitely a HUGE difference between these filters and almost any other "name brand" even aside from the sizing differences. If you can afford it, look elsewhere.

Reasonably priced and they work well in my Aqua pure filter housing (I have to cut off .25" for a good fit but they are easy to cut with a knife, saw or hot wire).
