In a previous service job many many years ago, I was introduced into the convertible Magliner Gemini Series two wheelers. They are functional, super well built, easily handle very heavy loads and the convertible function into a 4 wheel cart allows for moving larger objects and particularly large totes and boxes at twice the capacity as in the stand up two wheeler position.I had not used one in over 30 years but have thought about buying one for use on projects. The final decision to buy one came when it came time to move my son to college last fall. Knowing there would be no less than 500 trips back and forth from the parking lot to his dorm room, I wanted something that could carry a lot of weight, level it out, ride smoothly so it wouldn't fall off, this was the cart I needed. The pneumatic large tires are the secret. The other two casters that are used in the convertible 4 wheel cart position are hard nylon and swivel on casters for easy steering. I also bought the loading plate option which we used in four wheel cart mode. Had't seen that previously the last time I used this cart 30 years ago, but it sure would have been nice to have back then.They are a bit pricy compared to other lighter weight models offered on line or that you will see at Lowes, Home Depot and Menard's. If you buy a Magliner Gemini series, you will never have to buy another cart. Simple assembly, takes about 10 minutes if you read the instructions throughly - 20 mins if you don't.Excellent product - won't disappoint.

Cart is great but it didn't come with assembly instructions.....

For the extra few dollars you pay up front to invest in this Magline, you are getting supreme quality! This hand truck is perfect in every way. I opted for the Gemini Jr. so I could more easily navigate it around close quarters when in 4-wheel mode. Excellent product!

Great hand truck! Bought this for the office and it has been such a great help with moving around boxes. It was a bit of a challenge to assemble but it was well worth the effort. It was easy to convert from a dolly to a hand truck, although you would want to do it carefully unless you want to make a loud noise. There was a problem when I first ordered it and it never arrived but a replacement was sent promptly and customer service was fast to have another sent.

This hand truck exudes quality, and you can tell it's made in USA. Very well designed and machined. I had no problem with the assembly as mine came mostly assembled. I just had to assemble the bottom section, put the axle and wheels one, which was easy. I like how the locking mechanism works and very easy to convert either way. Super solid two-wheel dolly or four-wheel cart. I rolls easily and is very maneuverable. This hand truck will come in hand and is versatile.
