I have owned several versions of this type of seat. All have been basically the same tubular metal ratcheting frame covered with padding and a fabric cover. All have lasted about two years, the failure always being the padding. It either bottoms out so I can feel the frame or it shifts and bunches up in a not helpful area. I weigh 105 by the way. What I love about this seat is that it is noticeably lighter in weight than any of the others. Don't know how they Did that, aluminum frame maybe or lighter padding materials. It looks very nice and is comfortable. I hope it stays cushy for a good long time.

This is a dream chair! It's so soft and very pretty...just like the picture. I also wrote a note to the buyer over a concern I saw before my chair arrived and they wrote back within a few hours explaining everything. I use my chair for meditation, and it's way more comfortable than a back jack!
