Fit was too small and the brim seems to stick out further than I remember, but I'd have to find my old one in the attic somewhere to compare. Otherwise looks pretty accurate. I like how it even has the little pockets behind the EGA so you can put something to help it stay flat.Because it was too small, I had to order another in large (they wanted to charge me to ship it back for an exchange, which would have cost about as much as a new one, so guess I will just give the medium to one of my kids).

Met and exceeded my expectations. Great quality and a genuineness & accuracy, with that G.I. look & feel to my own (long lost to an old g/f) USMC-issued "cover" of long ago. I love to wear it! However, at the same time, it's not always appropriate in many situations - without people (just in general) wondering if you're either some kind of a Paramilitary Threat -- OR -- you're still trying desperately to "Hold-On" to the Good Ole Days"!THAT'S how legitimate it is! (...And, YES, I I DO relish those days with distinction!) LOL!

This hat is better than The one I wore back in the 60’s. Fit is great. Desert camo suits my current location and lifestyle. It is cool and comfortable. Best part is that it holds its shape. My old USMC utility covers had to be starched and stretched over a coffee can. Hell, I might have shipped over if our. Equipment had been this good.

Not a bad replica to the one I remember from my time in the Navy. The material is different (back then was ripstop fabric), but it looks and fits good. All it needs is a Navy crow and it is officially a Seabees utility cover.

This cover is close to issue (for us old dudes) but I don't ever remember any cover issued without a size in it. Mine came with a USN looking label with "MEDIUM" label. The other issue is the EGA. Mine may be ironed on but, It's thick and shiny, not ink. My youngest son (active duty lifer gunny) tells me It's newer issue EGA. The rest of the cover is right there, the 60s o/d. If your looking for an old utility cover, try this one.

Since they didn’t have large in the olive color so I took a chance and bought medium. It fits a little snug but will loosen over time.
