Great price & Dog loves them
The dog loved them!

My dogs love them, and these are a lot cheaper than "Greenies" brand.
I adopted two 4 year old standard poodles from a non-profit poodle rescue. When I adopted them their teeth were white and gleaming. After about a year they were starting to show significant tartar buildup. Their vet charges $600+ to clean teeth (with anesthesia), while their groomer charges $200 (without anesthesia). I was dubious as to how effective these chews would be, but thought I'd try them out. My dogs love them, and I give them each one a night as an after-dinner "treat". Three monhts later their teeth are definitely cleaner & with less tartar on their back teeth.

So far a great alternative to more expensive dental treats
After purchasing other dental treats for some time, they became too pricey and I started to research some other brands. A few different articles I came across mentioned how these Kirkland treats were some of the best as recommended by different vets. My dog loves them and the design of the bones force my dog to chew more. Of course they smell like they are meant for dogs - the scent smells like a dog treat! But I have noticed an improvement in my dogโs teeth with these treats, along with daily brushing. My dog is smaller and although the box and my vet said I could give my pup a whole bone a day, I have found that since they are more rigid, I can split it in half and give it to my dog. So far I havenโt noticed any stomach upset or color residue, etc. I think when buying food/treats for dogs, we need to remember that like humans, it is not always a one size fits all. What works for one dog/person may not be suitable for another. I would recommend anyone who is looking for something grain free with no artificial flavors and a treat that is made in the USA to give these a try. So far they have been a great purchase.

Delicious! Just Wish They Lasted Longerโฆ30 Secondsโฆ.
Summary of video for those who donโt want to watch; The pups here, 15 year old (35 pounds , and 3 year old (85 pounds): 1. love the taste of these dental treats 2. 85 pound doggie finished this Kirkland one in 30 seconds. And another new one I tried lasts him 40 seconds. So, since the price is slightly less on the other brand right now, I bought 4 months worth of that one. After that time I will revisit this one doing a price comparison again. Since dogs need to chew the treat as much as possible to remove tartar from their teeth, it makes sense to get the product that lasts longest in their mouths. 3. To me, watching both dogs with these dental treats, I feel that they look like they are about the right amount of hardness or sturdiness. 4. The quality and smell to me seems passable but not great. When I put the dog treats up to my nose, they honestly donโt smell fresh to me. But both of my dogs enjoyed them and thatโs the most important part. When I compare the smell of these to the other 2 products that I recently bought, the others smell fresh and good. This one does not. Maybe this batch is not as fresh as some others. I would suggest looking at the most recent reviews always because batch freshness differs so much in food products. 5. I didnโt notice any diarrhea, or stomach upset of any kind, and the health of both of my dogs is good and continues to be good.

He loves these things!
My extremely picky 20-year-old Lassa loves these dental chews. He won't eat a dog biscuit or any other off-brand chew, but he loves these. An added bonus is that they're less expensive than the name-brand ones.

Dog toothbrush
Our Poppy, a Sheepadoodle, looks forward to them twice a day as they are the smaller size. They seem to be keeping her teeth clean and thatโs a good thing. Thank you.
