Carnival in Venice - carnival in your house. The Venetian masks go back to the Middle Ages with their tradition and are mostly made from natural materials such as wood, plants, leather, clay or cloth. Today, plastic is usually used for this. The elaborate masks were designed in connection with the formation of the famous carnival and allow the wearers to slip into different roles and take new places in the social structure of the time or to design a whole new figure. There are different types in production and use, with different features that can add a special touch to the masquerade dance or your living room. You should keep an eye on these five mask types: Colombina. Volto. Bauta. Joker. Nose length. The Colombina covers the face half and is a special eye-catcher with its decorations. The mask embodies a bold maid who expresses her opinion at any time. The masks are not only used as carnival fancy dress, but are also perfect wall decorations. Hit two flies with one mask. Bad quality
The paint is chipped off in several places, it’s got bits of fluff all over it, it’s basically just falling apart already. Especially for the price I think this is definitely not worth buying at all.
