My book came titled "The Fox and the Hounds". Technically there are 2 dogs in the story, so maybe that is no big deal. I was happy to find this book for my daughter who loves the Disney movie of (almost) the same name. It was in good condition considering it was used. The storyline is like the "Cliff Notes" version of the movie, and was condensed in an interesting and acceptable way. The death of the Mommy fox and the mean bear at are alluded to in a vague enough way so as not to be too disturbing. However, I was bummed that my daughter's favorite line from the movie, "Ka-blam elimination! Lack of education!", had been left out.

I was surprised when I received the book to find that the title is "The Fox and the Hounds", hounds being plural. I am concerned that the book is a knock-off version and not a true Walt Disney product. I was wondering if anyone else received a book with this title as well.
