Deco Art Metallic Lustre Wax Finish, 1 oz, Cosmic Blue

To get the color in the photo I mixed this Cosmic Blue with a black color of the same product to make the blue darker. I can't say enough about this product. All the colors give fantastic results. They are much better than the liquid metallic paints. They are easily applied and go a long way.

I purchased this product to use on my Christmas cards. I followed the directions exactly. I wanted to highlight a black 3D embossing folder with this blue. All I got was a lot of smearing, the color on black card stock was very pretty but it just smeared all over. I tried using a sponge and then my finger and a paint brush. I am so disappointed I had been holding my xmas cards to finish some with the metallic lustre. So if you have ever used guilding wax by pebeo stick to that or you will be as unhappy as I am. I would return this item but through away my receipt. So I rated this 1 star as the color is very pretty.

I use these in my paintings. The trick is to use them sparingly. For this reason, they go a long way. I suggest that you use some kind of sealer over top. I use a spray-on gloss sealer, but if you're going to use a brush on, let the wax set for a couple weeks so that you don't smear it.

Easy to apply, I am presently using this on wood for my projects. Love the color...a little goes a very long way so it is a good value.

Bold, kingfisher blue can be applied with a paper 'pencil' for fine detailing on, for example, stamped Hummingbirds.. A little goes a very long way, which makes this product both economical and possible to use lavishly. Works well on paper, card and wood.

This product was not as pliable as one previously ordered.

Me encantan estas ceras de dedo, tienen un color increíble, no son botes muy grandes, la cantidad no es mucho pero cunde bastante porque si lo aplicas con un pincel pequeño cubres bastante con poca cantidad. Al principio lo elegí en Big Warehouse pero de la noche a la mañana me lo subió de 6,20€ a 14,62€ con lo que no me gusto nada y me cambié de tienda que lo tenían a 7,14 y muy bien Supermart USA muy rápidos y todo muy bien y siguen teniendo esos precios no lo han subido como los otros
